I like to think of myself as a fairly knowledgable and as best I can, unbiased when it comes to handicapping us.

I'm I just missing something here? Are we that average or are the skins that good.

I see this as a major mismatch. We are not only better in every area but are much more tested tough coming into this game.

The Skins have feasted on very week competition the last three weeks. Where we have played some of the NFL's best over that same time. That will make a difference come Sunday. I see them as being somewhat shellshocked by us in this game.

Who knows? Who cares? Regardless of the spread, lots of games have been decided by fluke plays and the better team no bringing their A-games.

Its a divisional RIVALRY game. I think that has a lot to do with any dallas/washington game line. These teams could be 1-15 each or 15-0 each, it makes n difference as to how they play it. This game is always good and I would not bet a penny on this game. I really have no idea which team shows up to face the skins. Conservative close game or opened up Offensive team? Wondering if that last game was an aberation as far as the Defense, or is this that 'wall' where they start tiring, not used to this grind, I prefer to believe the former, rather then the latter.

Will be a good game and while I am expecting my boys to have a tough battle, it should be winable, but you just never know with these two teams.

Were on the road. Anytime a game is even otherwise, homefield is worth 3 points. Basically there saying its a coin flip with the edge going to home.

exactly, not sure what the issue is here..this line is right where it should be. Stats on offense and defense are about even. We are one game better than them but playing on the road. And despite 56 minutes of dominance we did lose to them at home. I think we have a great shot but this line is right where it should be.

This should be a pick em game. They may be evenly matched but the Cowboys have played much better football over the past 5-6 weeks then the Skins. The Skins offense has been enemic at best over the past 6 weeks. Brunell has reverted back to the Brunell of last season. While the Skin "D" has been good enough to keep them in almost every game this year they have tired in the waining moments of the 4th quarter in the past 6 weeks. The Skin "D" has allowed leads to evaporate in the final minutes of games of late.

I see this game as a 13-13 game going into the 2 minute warning. If the Skins have the ball it will go into OT. If Dallas has the ball they will drive 50 yards and kick the game winning field goal.

In odds making the home team always gets a 3 point advantage regardless of the opponent. If a home team is a 3 point favorite it means the game is considered a push and if in Dallas we'd be favored by 3 points.

Dallas should be a 6 point fav at home, 3 point at neutral site and a push/ pick em at Washington.

Unless a team is clearly superior, they almost always make the home team a 3pt favorite...the same has been true almost all year. This is going to be a tough game unless things go our way fast and early. Remember, we only scored 1 td on them last time at our place.

Well they did beat us at home. They figured something out in the last couple of minutes which we may or may not have a solution for. (I trust we do BTW). Seems fair although I agree 24-13 sounds bout right.

Moss is banged up and is nursing a groan pull. He won't have that break away speed this week. The Skin "D" is really banged up and all 3 corners are gimpy. Williams may not be able to pressure Bledsoe the way he would like to. If the Skin "D" is not attacking Drew he will find man to man coverages against the Skin's gimpy corners and take advantage of it. Bledsoe is hot right now and Brunell is not. If the Cowboys contain Portis they should win this game.

The Commanders simply aren't that bad this year and very similar to the Cowboys. Like us, they've pretty much been in almost every game they've played, while coming up short in the closing minutes. I'd say we certainly have a better team but like Parcells said, execution is underrated.

This is a divisional game with possible subpar weather and both teams NEEDING a win, throw in Bill's conservative game plan and this isn't going to be a high scoring affair, unless the Skins turn this into a shootout (highly unlikely).

Seeing it is a close one, they start at 3. Lines will change as betting goes on.

We're pretty evenly matched.

Our passing game has stalled some lately for sure, but as defenses started taking that away our running game has really taken off. We now have the #5 rushing game in the league.

Sure you guys have played tougher competition than we have lately, but you haven't exactly been BEATING them all (If you want brownie points for playing good teams tough before losing to them, we'd have our share as well.) Before that, the Cowboy wins over the Eagles and Lions weren't really any more impressive than ours over the Rams and Cardinals.

Fact is, neither of our teams is particularly dominant. We both play close games in which we win more than we lose. You all may be a little better at it, but we're at home.

Personally though, I thought the Cowboys would be favored by a point or two, or at the very least that 3 point spread would have tightened up some as bets came in this week. I expect another close game.
