3000, 1000, 1000, 10 again?

Every year I ask the same question. Will we have a 3000 yard passer, 1000 yard rusher, 1000 yard receiver, and a double-digit sacker.

For the last two years, we've had a 3000 yard passer, and last year was the first time in years that our QB passed for more TDs than INTs. Last year also was the first time in a long time that we had a 1000 yard receiver.

We haven't had a 1000 yard rusher in a long time. And before I get ten responses saying, "1000 yards really isn't a true measuring stick for a RB anymore", I'll say that if it's so easy, then shouldn't we meet that mark?

We haven't had a player with over 10 sacks since Tolbert in 1996. I'd love to see this happen.

Now, here are my predicitons.....

**Yes, to a 3000 yard passer. Drew has enough weapons to easily reach this mark.

**Yes, to a 1000 yard receiver. TO may start slowly, but he'll reach 1000 yards.

**Yes, to a 1000 yard rusher. I feel JJ stays healthy and rushes for 1200 yards.

**No to 10+ sacks....Alas, I think Ware will be better and more consistent, but I think he gets around 9 sacks. I think we'll see sack totals from our entire team go up.

I didn't think about adding the Commanders to this list....

Naturally, they'll all reach those numbers. And not just the QB, RB, WRs, and DEs. Their CBs, TEs, Ss, OL, and LBs will all reach said numbers.

I will disagree with the sacks. I just dont see any of the players getting over 10+. thats pretty hard to do, and I dont think any of our d-lineman our good enough to get the high.

I also dont know if brunell will get 3000. If he stays healthy, I think he will, but injury is a concern.

I disagree. I think Ware has a better chance of 10+ sacks than Julius does of 1,000+ yards. Ware stays healthy, Julius doesn't. Ware is THE pass rushing threat on this team, Julius could lose ground to Barber. Folks gotta understand that Ware was playing a new position last year, hadn't yet achieved an NFL body. He's going to be a monster.

I disagree. I think Ware has a better chance of 10+ sacks than Julius does of 1,000+ yards. Ware stays healthy, Julius doesn't. yes-*bledsoe should be able to reach 3000 easily with the addition of TO, who is much much better than key, and (what seems to be) an improved O-Line

yes-*I think we may actually have 2 1000 yard recievers in TO and Glenn, but more likey the ball will get spread around with all of our weapons and we will just have one, TO

yes-*If Julius stays healthy he will break 1000, he would have the 2 previous seasons if not for injury.

no-* i dont think we will have a 10 sack guy, ware has a chance but i dont see it happening as opposing teams will key on him, more likely he will end up with 8 or 9. I think our d will have a lot of sacks as a team though

Ware finished last season with 8 sacks. 10+ is a reasonable expectation for him in 2006.
