This could be the third year in a row the cowboys will play the sunday night finale with everything on the line.

The Giants kicked our butt two years ago.

The Commanders beat us last year with a rookie quarterback.

The Eagles could beat us this year with another inexperienced quarterback and a coach in his first year with the pros.

How embarrassing would it be to see our season end three straight years against all three division opponents? Not to mention it will be watched by all of America once again.

Romo had a chance with the ball at the end last year but threw the pick. What happens if we are in the same situation this year and he throws another pick???

Didnt Romo also throw a pick against the Giants when we were fixing to tie the game?

I'm not sure. I know he threw at least one pick.

We were shut out in the first half, so the offense didn't help the defense much.

What if the defense cannot force a punt for an NFL record 3rd game?

What if that happens?

I believe he did when we had made it 21-7, but we got the ball right back and scored a TD to get us within 7 with lots of time.

Could be the Packers and Bears that are flexed and not us that final week...........especially if that is Rogers first game back with a division title at stake.

I'd be willing to bet they would flex the cowboys game over that one. I know it's a huge rivalry, but the cowboys always draw the best ratings.

With the Eagles being flexed in week #16 to Sunday night, I cannot imagine the Eagles getting flexed to Sunday night again a week later. If I had to guess, the league flexed the Eagles this week because they prefer (or expect) a better matchup flexed in week #17 that does not include the Eagles.

The league knows that if the week #17 game between the Cowboys and Eagles is for the NFC East division, it will get a huge number of viewers watching that game regardless of the time slot primarily due to the Cowboys national love/hate fan bases. If they flex another playoff deciding game next week between less "nationally" popular teams, they will get a lot more viewers than normal for that game because it will be the only game on at that time.

Makes for great drama. I'm sure the networks are thrilled
