4-0 against 9-33 teams

When do they beat a real team?

The added players in defense do give the team a now promising look, not until Dallas doesn't get boat-raced by a good team other than the Eagles, it's the same ole same ole.
Half of your wins every year are gonna be against sub-500 teams.

That's just basic statistics.

That way although it looked nice tonight, it was against the raiders.

Well from what I've heard HOF coaches and players say for years..... its hard winning games in the NFL.

Every team consists of highly paid professionals.

With that said, we did what we're supposed to have done. We won the game.

Not imposible they beat Philly. Their offense doesnt scare anybody and I heard today there are a lot of pissed off people at Hurts right now on their team.
If it’s on the internet it has to be true.

The Raiders are 2-7, Dak threw an incompletion, CeeDee dropped a pass, we only won by 17, my dog ran away, my prostate is swollen, Dallas sux.
They have meds for the swollen prostate.

Good luck.

You're nuts.... that was a super bowl caliber performance against one of the top teams in the history of the NFL. Don't be foolish and miss out on an opportunity to reserve a seat in Santa Clara for February 8.

We will beat Philly next week. Giving this fanbase false hope, just to get embarassed by Mahomes on Thanksgiving. Ruining our draft position and our fake playoff hopes.

Its the Cowboys way
Sort of thinking this to. Chiefs aren’t even good this year but yeah I see it playing out the same.

We're beating Philly...their offense sucks right now and Dak usually plays really well against them and we're at home. I saw a team last night that is ready to go on a run.

We all know KC isn't the same and then revenge time against Detroit for that beating they put on us last year.

I hate to say it but that has been the problem since the hey day of the triplets. One of Jerry’s issues is that Washington and New York have been so bad except for the Giants two Super Bowls in the 2000s. Jerry had to really step up with some of the best teams of all time in the 90s with your division with Washington and New York with Gibbs/Parcels. Philadelphia was no slouch either with Buddy Ryan’s defense. To me Washington and New York are the reason the Cowboys are soft.

Can we revisit this thread in 10 days? We will have a pretty good idea, no, make that a great idea of who the Cowboys are in the next 10 days. Enjoy the win vs an incompetent team, lots of positives. If the additions on D can make the necessary impacts needed, then there is no reason we can't win at least 2 of these 3 games. Will it be too late to make a playoff run? Odds are still stacked against us. Does it very much put '26 as a contending season? Sure does if we draft well, and fill in needed issues.

This team has the 6th hardest schedule in the NFL, and the next 3.....

Just be glad they are beating the teams they should beat. If they were not consistently doing it then you would have something to worry about

Can't we just realize we're "rebuilding" for next year? No need to talk playoffs. Lets just watch this team or players get better......especially on defense. We're too much in the hole regarding being a contender. The Parsons' deal/impact is not done. I'm ok with viewing progress in 2025 and having a pass rush by group ain't never hurt a team being better.
If we see a 2026 record being similar........then we have a problem........again.

It’s not false hope. The landscape of the NFL changes week to week. Injuries certainly change things for every team at this point in the season. In addition, teams in a good position to qualify for the playoffs access the rest of their season and plan accordingly. The “hope”, right now, is real enough.

The tough part is depending on other teams’ success or failure to put the Cowboys in a position to make the playoffs. Philly can probably see with their O-line injuries they are not going to be the top seed and just play to win the division and get as healthy as possible for a playoff run. That leaves the Cowboys, realistically, chasing one of three wild card spots. Not easy, but not impossible.
