4-0 against 9-33 teams

I think this defense is about to become a real strength, barring injuries decimating it again.

If we beat Philly this week soundly, this team’s confidence is going to explode.

It’s not false hope. The landscape of the NFL changes week to week. Injuries certainly change things for every team at this point in the season. In addition, teams in a good position to qualify for the playoffs access the rest of their season and plan accordingly. The “hope”, right now, is real enough.

The tough part is depending on other teams’ success or failure to put the Cowboys in a position to make the playoffs. Philly can probably see with their O-line injuries they are not going to be the top seed and just play to win the division and get as healthy as possible for a playoff run. That leaves the Cowboys, realistically, chasing one of three wild card spots. Not easy, but not impossible.
Don’t underestimate how much chaos a cancer like A J Brown can cause.

We will beat Philly next week. Giving this fanbase false hope, just to get embarassed by Mahomes on Thanksgiving. Ruining our draft position and our fake playoff hopes.

Its the Cowboys way
Really amazing that you get called a hater for wanting a higher draft pick in a lost season.

There is a better chance of Peter Dinklage suiting up for the Lakers than the Cowboys making the playoffs this year.

And yet, you come on here and you would think (without looking at the record) that they are a game out of first place in the NFC.

This team has lost to every team its trying to get in front of in the playoff race. It aint happening. All they are going to do now, is ruin our draft position because the "real fans" want to see wins to prove they werent wrong about this team. As opposed to admitting. This team is flawed, lets take our licks this year and come back with 2 HIGH first rounders next season.

Nope. Reality has left the building because they beat the Raiders.

At this point can we just be happy about a win?

We already know 2025 is likely a lost cause. Take your victories when you can. If fans can't even be satisfied after a win, what is the point?

I get we all want to win a Super Bowl. That's the goal of 32 teams. 31 will fail. 14 will make the playoffs. 13 are guaranteed to lose their last game. And it's probably already too late for Dallas to be one of the 14.

Yes it was "only the Raiders". But I like watching the team win. Just leaving it at that.

This was actually the game I was most concerned about. The next 11 games are ours!
Beating them last night was a good thing, likely depriving them of that number one seed in the AFC playoffs. I am still afraid that we may have to play them again in February.

I'll take a win where I can get it. Not all 17 weeks are Super Bowls.... sometimes you're just scheduled to play a bad team.

When do they beat a real team?
Honestly, probably 2026. The rest of this season is a preseason to set up for next year. Next year we will be in the mix for the NFC and we’ll be beating real teams again.

snark is unacceptable

you fail to grasp my point

We will crush the egirls. They just barely squeaked by 2 soft teams while we destroyed the mighty LasVegas Raiders. Bet the house, this is easy money.

We're beating Philly...their offense sucks right now and Dak usually plays really well against them and we're at home. I saw a team last night that is ready to go on a run.

We all know KC isn't the same and then revenge time against Detroit for that beating they put on us last year.
