Mike Evans, CJ Mosely, Shazier, Zack Martin, Nix are the top choices left
Nix, Martin or Evans should be the choice here.

1st Mike Evans WR gets the pick. Not forcing the pick.
Massive talent. Big Stage performer.

2nd Billy Turner OT
Competes at OG and his future is RT.

Finally a d-line player. Sack artist. RDE
Better than any DE currently on the roster

4th Davon Coleman DT
valued here despite lower projects

ake Turner in the 4th and Coleman in the 7th and it's a lot more realistic. There are a lot of really good later round DT options. I don't see any chance that Coleman is a 4th rounder.

Too much resources spent on a position of strength already.
Secondly dont enough attention to the defensive side of the ball

And other than getting a little more out of SF, I would take that trade.

Evans will be long gone. Nix is not the prototype DT for Marinelli. Martin is a guard according to Cowboys and 3rd ranked at that position on their board according to sources.

I think we'll trade down if possible.

These are good points. I think Turner is 3 rounder but he won't be there. OL is inflated in value, but I think he is worth a second and there is no else that checks all the boxes in the 2nd half. I really like Troy Niklas TE Nortre Dame though. If he hadn't recently had surgery, I would go with him.

Watch the Coleman tape. He won't last to the 5th. He's a great fit for the D-scheme as a 1-gaper

Did you just say Niklas? I am not sure if this is sarcasm or not, but a TE?

lol. That's funny. Hopefully Jerry gets trade value and a little "somfin" from the raping of 2013.

...
SF: "I don't know, a 2nd and a 4th is pretty steep"
DC: "oh wait, seattle is on the phone, see ya"
click...dial tone

Never thought of that scenario..... Boy- I can see that happening if Evans is on the board. A 49ers/Seahawks bidding war. That could get expensive!!!! And only benefit us;)

Stick to your draft board based on team needs.

Shazier will be the pick.
A playmaker at OSU, will be a playmaker in Dallas.

I've watched Colemen's game footage. I also watched the game footage of many other mid to late DTs. Coleman's issue is that he only had 1 good year.

Did you watch full games or the highlight reel?

Not sarcasm. He'll be a great player in the NFL. At 48 in the 2nd, there is not a worthy 'need' player.

we currently have 3 TE's that we are trying to use and you want to use a 2nd (again) on a TE? the board would go ape-****....we don't need a TE in this draft, unless you grab one in the 7th for blocking purposes
