with our current DTs (dline), would we rather have McDowell or Foster?
i think i would take Foster. we arent sure about Jaylen and we could move LBs around, keep them rested, etc.

Foster is just a Boss. I don't think I could pass on him. Xwalker is right about only having 2 LB's a good part of the time though.

Still, I'd find a way. Maybe, like he said, use Jaylon as an edge rusher in passing situations. I don't know. All I know is that Foster is going to be one hell of a player and I'd have a hard time passing.

But that is just me. The team might not feel the same way.

BTW... I'd pass on McDowell all day every day. Dude is lazy. The team probably feels about the same way I do in this instance.

They could also choose to take a lineman off the field and play with 3 down, where Jaylon could be that leo rusher... but either way I don't think it's as big of a problem and you can certainly find ways to maximize their snaps

Sure, they could do a lot of things; however, if he did make it to #28, there is a good chance that some other team would want him more than the Cowboys and would give up picks to move up a few spots to take him.

Lol Foster is the obvious pick, dude is one of the best players in the draft. You put him on the field. 3-3-5, done. He won't get near us though.

Hoping Barnett, he's not the best dude in space so maybe 3-4 teams will pass on him for guys like Harris/Watt/McKinley who project better (than him) to OLB. I don't think he's there either though.

I've warmed up to Peppers. I'd be fine with that.

McDowell is an "elite" talent now? I've read he's completely immature though. Don't want him.

BPA on Defense. TE, WR and RB can be found using UDFA it's not like they gonna play with Witten, Zeke , Dez, Beez and Williams on the roster.

Joey Bosa was a very good athlete and teams gameplanned for him, it's not a good comparison for Barnett.

He was bigger too and fit more the profile of a typical defensive lineman.
