Cant picture Singletary coaching PacMan

I could if Singletary truly felt that he turned his life around. Singletary is a devout christian and doesn't seem hypocritical. Forgiveness and absolution are pretty important tenants of modern christianity.

Pacman has a drinking problem. His first issue was at a bar at VT, he was drinking in the making it rain fiasco and he was drinking at that hotel when he got into a fight with his security guard.

Hes an angry drunk and like most alcoholics, if he can stop drinking, he can turn his life around.

Pacman would have to prove it to Singletary but if he did I think there is little question that Singletary would at the very least listen.

He will end up in detroit.

I bet he will look good in a workout, and then martin mayhew....deion sanders friend from his FSU days will get deion on the phone. Deion is pacmans buddy and you can put two and two together from there.

Detroit is actually putting a good team together it appears and It looks like they have a plan. If they bring in pacman they are going to set themselves back.

but its always fun to hear pacman give I already ownded up to my mistakes speeches...

wait till u see this zoners;
Pacman Jones-DB- Cowboys Mar. 19 - 4:06 pm et

Free agent Pacman Jones didn't show up for his scheduled workout on Friday.

There was "no immediate word" on why Jones was absent, but he's had the workout planned for nearly a month. Numerous teams were scheduled to attend, and certainly won't be pleased if Jones didn't have a legitimate excuse. If the teams were not informed ahead of time, the no-show could end Pacman's career.

Report: "Pacman" workout out after all

3/19/2010 4:36:10 PM

Mike Florio of Profootballtalk.com reports contrary to the New Orleans Times-Picayune report that Adam "Pacman" Jones failed to show up for his workout, Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reports that the session is occurring.

"He's running the 40 right now and just did an interview with the camera crew we have there," La Canfora said via e-mail.

La Canfora also said that five teams are present.

The problem apparently is that Jim Varney of the Times-Picayune believed that the session would occur at the same place where the Tulane Pro Day occurred. It's actually happening at another location.

According to his agent, Pacman Jones ran a 4.4 in the forty-yard dash at his personal Pro Day Friday.

NFL Network also reports that Jones met privately with the 49ers prior to the workout, and Lions officials visited with him Friday morning. In addition to Detroit and San Francisco, the Jaguars and Saints sent representatives.

Plus Schwartz was his DC in Tennessee, I guess.

Anthony Henry has to be wondering what he did to deserve this.

im not big on hypotheticals that highly unlikely to happen. i would wonder why he would do that.

in fairness though the report was wrong and jones did well. i hope the best for him. i spoke out of turn but he does have a long history of a drinking problem.

Report: "Pacman" ran a 4.4 40 yard dash

3/19/2010 7:58:32 PM

James Varney of the New Orleans Times-Picayune Former NFL cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones did work out for NFL teams Friday afternoon, holding a 25-30 minute outdoor session at Hahnville High School outside of New Orleans, his trainer, Duke Rousse, said.

The workout, which involved a 40-yard dash and positional drills but did not include the sort of jumping and weightlifting elements that are common in performances for scouts was a success, according to Rousse.

"He looked great," Rousse said. "They just wanted to see his footwork and the defensive back drills."

Considerable confusion surrounded the location and timing of Jones' workout. When his camp first informed the media about it the location was said to be Tulane University, which held its Pro Day for NFL scouts and coaches Friday. Jones would work out there after the Green Wave players had finished, and that arrangement was reported in several outlets over the following weeks and on the front page of the sports section in Friday's Times-Picayune. At no time did anyone in Jones' camp request a correction or inform reporters that the site had been changed.

In addition to the workout, which Rousse said included a 4.4 40 time by Jones, five NFL teams interviewed Jones at Rousse's New Orleans facility. He declined to identify the teams in question.

I'd rather sign a roller derby chick. At least the fights would be fair.
