4th Quarters...Many of You Forget (Campo Years)

With Campo during the 5-11 years...we either lead, or were right in most of thsoe games...

This team is just a better version of Campo's clubs against plus .500 teams...

I agree that we were "in" most games back then, but we also didn't SCORE alot of points back then either.

This team would crush those 5-11 teams.

Your memory is flawed. The Campo years were mostly BLOWOUTS, of the worst kind. Campo's teams lacked serious talent, on the field, and on the sidelines.

The Parcells teams were no different-remember the Seattle game in '05, where we looked like we were going to win it out, until we gave up 10 pts to END THE GAME? Remember the 1st Skins game that same year when we blew a 2 score lead with 2 minutes to play?

Actually, go back an look at the games...we were close in ALOT of games in the 4th quarter only to lose it in that qtr.


Having said that, there were also blowouts where I went hunting before the game was even over...they were just not a very good team.

Like I said, this team would crush that team.

No doubt we were blown out a few times, but I remember being just crazy mad at the way the team was being handled, week in and week out we would be in a 3-7 point game late in the 4th qtr and we waited to do anything until it was the last drive.

Zim's defense and the offense was coached to not lose games, they never took chances and never went for the win until late.

I would always yell,

"Stop playing not to lose, and play to win you ******* ********* cowards."

Campo was scared to lose and, was deathly afraid of putting games in Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchinsons hands among other QBs.

man i wish i could subscribe to that...you make a lot of sense and i wouldn't feel as crappy as i do right now...in all honesty i am jealous.
