Our remaining schedule for the first half of the season........

09/11 @ San Diego W 28-24
09/19 Washington L 13-14
09/25 @ San Francisco W 34-31
10/02 @Oakland 3:15 p.m.
10/09 Philadelphia 3:15 p.m.
10/16 N.Y. Giants Noon
10/23 @ Seattle 3:05 p.m.
10/30 Arizona Noon

Anyone see 3-4 wins? I do.

Oakland L, Philly W, NY W, Seattle W, Arizona W......I say we finish the first half at 6 & 2 giving us a good shot at the playoffs. I know I'm just an "Old Homer"

This is one of those teams that could go 5-1 or 1-5 in that stretch.

It's all a matter of whether "Big Mo" is taking us up or down. And it starts with this week.

I think they can beat Oakland. I think they can score points and get turnovers against Collins. Norv is good at getting Oaklands offense going on the first drive, after that they peter out.

Philly is just tough for Dallas. I lean toward a win since it is at home, but it will come down to the end again.

Giants should be a win for Dallas at home. The Cowboys tend to play down to the Giants and it will create another close game.

Seattle will be tough as well. Another long road trip. Have to give the edge to the home team.

Arizona at home is typically a win and usually big.

I would be pleased as punch with either record. I wish I had your optimism.

I can't really get a good handle on this team. They are giving away points like candy right now.

Oakland could be tough for the offense to handle. Philly is still the class of the division. I think the Giants are much better team than people give them credit for.

I know this, they should beat Arizona...which probably means they will win all the rest and lose that one.

I think we'll be 4-4 after those games, if we beat the Giants.

Just trying to be realistic. We simply aren't a good team right now. We're average. Average teams go 4-4 vs that schedule. 5-3 if we'd beaten the Skins.

We'll likely lose to the Raiders (don't let their 0-3 start fool you, they're a better team then that), Eagles, and Seattle.

Honestly I don't see a game on there that we CAN'T win.....the only game I'm worried about is Philly....but if McNabb continues to take a beating who knows what will happen to them.

You are right. That is why Dallas is not 3-0. It just so happens tha other than the Eagles, every team on that portion of the schedule is also average at best. Raiders may be better than 0-3, but are still an average team. Every game could be a toss up.

10/02 @Oakland 3:15 p.m. I think we win by virtue of the better running game. Oakland is explosive but has trouble when needing to sustain anything. They score early points than kinda peter out. Norv Turner is horrible in the lockerroom with adjustments. 27-21 Dallas W

10/09 Philadelphia 3:15 p.m. Playing in Philly will be very tough. A huge key here could be McScab's health. If he isn't near 100% we have a real shot but on the road against a tough team I'd figure an L. 24-13 Filthy.

10/16 N.Y. Giants Noon Giants are up and down but BP takes games against the Ginats as serious as anyone. He really gets up to win those games. Dallas has a better Wr corps to take advantage of the respective secondaries. The Giants Wrs are bigger, physical guys which Dallas seems to match up well with. Dallas 24-20. W

10/23 @ Seattle 3:05 p.m. Seattle can flat out score. And will flat out allow you to score too. Expect another barn burner. 35-31 Seattle. L.

10/30 Arizona Noon A really bad team will be pumped about playing Dallas. Zona has no QB and no running game. Dallas wins 26-13. W.

Thats 5-3 but also with a lot of the tougher games out of the way. If Dallas gets to 5-3 then it could be a rather easy juant to the playoffs in the 2nd half of the season.

Are you for real? Dallas isn't 3-0 because of an absolute fluke first of all.....as for losing to the raiders, eagles and seahawks that's crazy! The raiders defense is horrible! The eagles are a legit threat...but the seahawks!?? Yah right Bledsoe lit them up last year in Seattle when the bills won by like 30 points despite 3 INT's. If the defense doesn't improve than I agree we won't go anywhere because we cant expect Drew and the offense to carry this team every game.

The game against the Eagles is in Dallas. Or at least it better be, or else I'm flying to Dallas for no reason whatsoever!

If McNabb is injured, but playing, I think we can win.

Average teams put themselves in position to lose by flukes. Good teams don't. Good teams put the Commanders away. Good teams don't let the 49ers jump out to a big lead. Dallas is an average team at this time. That is reality. But so are most of the teams that Dallas faces. That is why I said every game will be a toss up. I will be rooting for a win and I think they can win every one of them, but they can also lose some. That is the NFL.

Agreed. We have here ateam that can win or lose on any given week to any team in the league.

We'll need to get consistent before I can make any predictions. We look really good at times and we look really bad at times. My gut tells me we will continue to get better, but we will still see some aggravating growing pains, probably so for the remainder of the season.

That, however is expected with the youth we have. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the growth.
