5 Mind Blowing Stats!

...good stuff, lets hope we can get real playoff/championship stats. In Dak we trust.

They got nothing else. Hilarious to watch them squirm. Dak is a great QB with all the stats to back up how good he is and they go ballistic. Its like someone insulted their mommy and get personally offended.

Put your head back in there and hush.

It is a team sport, so why do some feel the need to shove Dak's personal stats in everyone's face on a daily basis?

I imagine each and every one of us who criticizes Dak would be perfectly happy with his production if he were only getting 200 to 250 yards a game and the team was consistently winning games, including making serious noise in the playoffs.

Stop shoving meaningless stats in our faces that haven't amounted to a damn thing. They're only good for Dak and do nothing for the team.

Shoving? Its just an article telling loyal Cowboys fans how good their QB is. Its not our fault you get personally offended by that fact. :oldcouple:

You would have to be the most pathetic fan to be upset about this article. :flagwave:

Didn't Romo have over a 100 TDs his first 4 seasons?
His official stats are always weird because he sat the bench his first few years.

they get even more weird when they do career per game averages like passing ypg) because they include years he played special teams but not QB.

So what is more important to you, Dak keeping up with his stat padding or the team actually winning something meaningful? Should Dak finish his career with no NFC championship appearances and no super bowls, he will be easily forgettable, just like Quincy Carter.

Your answer will show whether you are a Dak fan or a Cowboys fan. Cowboys fans focus on the team as a whole, not drooling over personal stats that have done nothing for the team.

He's def. going to dance around that question :muttley:

The 5 mind blowing stats I would like to see.

1. Top 5 defense from a 30th + tanking the year before
2. Top 5 STs from one of the worst the previous year.
3. Top offense with a record least amount pf turnovers.
4. 1st undefeated team in the new 17 RS game format.
5. !st head coach to win a Superbowl with 2 separate teams.

None of us devoted Cowboys fans owe any kind of explanation to a pathetic fan like you.

I think even trolls like you have figured out that great QB play is one of the keys to winning SB's. Great to know that we have that in Dak. You got a little taste of what it would look like with a bad QB AND a bad defense last year.

I suspect it was one of the big reasons the FO ponied up 40 million for 4 years in resigning our great young QB to the extension.

I literally called it :lmao::lmao:

4. Cowboys are 31-3 when Prescott has a 100+ passer rating
Prescott finishing with a 100+ passer rating nearly makes the Cowboys unbeatable. Dallas is an astonishing 31-3 when Prescott finishes with a 100+ passer rating in his career, as the .912 win percentage is tied for the second-highest (with Russell Wilson) through a player's first 69 games reaching a 100+ passer rating in league history.

Len Dawson had 32 games with a 100+ passer rating through his first 69 games, going 30-2 in those games (.933 win percentage).
Does this mean we should stop blaming the defense for not winning games? We almost always win it seems when Dak has over 100 passer rating which honestly isn't that hard to do in today's NFL. Just give him a few more high 1st round pick weapons and we'll be fine. RB? Check. WR? Multiple checks. OL? Multiple checks. I guess the only thing missing is a first round TE. That is what is holding us back.

I still say any decent QB could put up decent numbers with this team. "But but but Andy Dalton didn't!" Dalton didn't have this team. Literally the entire offensive line was hurt. Their backups were hurt. Had he had a healthy team he probably would've been fine and didn't cost $40m/yr.

why go to a thread about dak stats, and talk about team stuff?

Is that what it means to you? :muttley:

The more telling stat would be the record when Dak has a rating of less than 100.

Simple answer is because they have NOTHING ELSE!

They have no shot at attacking Dak directly. There is no proof in that direction.

There are lots of ways to criticize dak, I am just saying why change the point of the thread from dak to team stuff.

Check for polyps while you're up there. Gotta make sure your hero is healthy.

You forgot a few important stats:

Playoff wins - 1
NFC championship appearances - 0
Super Bowl appearances - 0

Do you remember what happened before Wentz, Goff, and Mahommes all got paid? Thats right, they actually accomplished something more important than personal stat padding.

They were also on far better, well coached teams. You think Wentz and Goff would be better than Prescott here with Garrett?
