5 Mind Blowing Stats!

Number 5 is the most important. Look at the names on the list. Number 5 shows you how unimportant all of those stats are. All of those QBs in every stat were from the past few years except Len Dawson. I wonder why?

Exactly my point. Why on earth would someone knock DAk but boost up Tannenhill is just....well I know what it is lol. Its clear there's a agenda there...I could literally name any quarterback and he'd have argument for why that guy is better so it is what it is.
"In his first year, Prescott threw for 13 touchdowns and 4 interceptions against above-.500 teams and compiled a 6-3 record, including the playoffs. Since then, his touchdown-to-interception ratio is 25-25 and his record as a starter is 6-17. Last year, he had an 8/8 TD/INT ratio and the Cowboys went 1-6 against teams with an above-.500 record.

Of course, you may be asking yourself, well, how do other top-paid QBs fair against quality competition? How do Prescott's stats stack up against those in the pay range he's looking to break into? I'm happy you asked.

Against over-.500 teams both in the regular season and the playoffs (when applicable), Aaron Rodgers had a 12/4 ratio and 5-3 record last year. Russell Wilson had an 11/4 ratio and a 4-4 record. Kirk Cousins had a 15/6 ratio and a 3-5 record. Jared Goff's ratio was 6/6 and his record was 2-4. Tom Brady was 6/5 and 3-4.

Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Deshaun Watson, Prescott's QB contemporaries also up for new deals soon, had numbers of 20/4 and 5-2, 10/3 and 5-2 and 12/5 and 4-3, respectively.

While Prescott isn't alone in his struggles against better teams, all of those quarterbacks outside of Goff were better than Prescott against elite competition last year. For the quarterbacks around his same age and stature (yes, Mahomes and Jackson are MVPs, but you get it), Prescott isn't even in the same ballpark."

Your thoughts?

Here's my thing, just because Dak is our best option does not mean he is immune to criticism. I have him as the 11th best QB in the world and i'm labeled a "hater".

Yes, he is our best option out of whats available, but that doesn't mean you are required to suspend reality and convince yourself he is better than he has shown so far.
There’s not much reality left with our franchise this era under Jethro’s dysfunctional situation.

Here’s another mind blowing stat that is in another thread that a fan started. 5-13 against better teams 20 points a game 24 turn overs the last 3 Dak seasons. Hopefully the D can hold teams to less than 17 points a game but after seeing those 9 and 12 point Dak games not sure that will do. Going to be a great season can’t wait Dak and Jerry says this team is special and has championship written all over it.

Thats a team stat dummy. Keep trying!

Name calling the last resort when you lose again and don’t like the facts. 20 points 25 turnovers. I guess when you use W-L it’s a Dak stat when needed, the stat that shows his choking in games that matter it becomes a team stat. We all know the real Dak dummy uses the cowboy Roy handle.

"So what is more important to you, Dak keeping up with his stat padding or the team actually winning something meaningful?"

Roy REFUSED to answer that question when asked by another poster.
I couldn’t give a crap about Daks individual stats.

But that said if he produces offensively and the team still struggles or doesn’t have as much success then we shouldn’t hold him solely responsible. There will probably many more contributing factors.

You answered like I would expect a Cowboys fan to answer the question. Respect.

2022

Dak $33.2M

DLaw $27M

2023

Dak $44.2M

DLaw $29M

2024

Dak $47.2M

DLaw $0

So while you want to show just 2021, things change dramatically in 2022-2024.
No my point was Lawrence has a big hit. He asked why do the quarterbacks have such a big hit then? Lawrence has one too.

Yep ..but the many continued critics of Dak, and over the years I’ve been critical on some fronts myself, are focused solely on one aspect in our QB and not critiquing all of the moving parts of our team and organization which makes it suspect.

Choking you say?

2. Tied for second-most game-winning drives in first four seasons
Prescott had 14 game-winning drives in his first four seasons, tied with Russell Wilson for the second-most in the NFL since 1970 (AFL-NFL merger). Only Matt Ryan (16) has more game-winning drives in his first four seasons than Prescott and Wilson.

Prescott's 15 game-winning drives are the fifth-most in the NFL since 2016 (his rookie season). Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford, and Derek Carr are tied for the most with 18, while Wilson has 16.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

What a choker eh?
