Him and his buddies like to re frame questions as they see if to try and use an answer that they think looks better. They think they're going have a "gotcha" moment, but they always just look desperate instead.

quit acting like you don't know this, wins are daks, the loses are the teams. quit acting silly.
Dak is the only quarterback in the NFL that hasn't lost a game. another record for the stats guy.

Do you think we will win more games without Dak?

I’d like to hear what your plan is to win more games given our dysfunctional organization and situation. Who on this roster is taking us further than Dak at QB?

I think that is the wrong question. Absolutely, Dak is the best option we have on our roster and it's not close. But to me, I was not in favor of him being on the roster at all. I would have let him walk personally. We could have drafted a young QB that can do the things that Dak does at a fraction of the cost. But that shipped has sailed now and we have Dak, for better or worse. Now as a Cowboy fan, all I can do it hope for the best wish him well and hope he plays extremely well all year. I know some on here read a stat page and think Dak is the next HOF QB but it's not true. He plays well at times and he plays like crap at times. The fact that most of his wins against good teams happened when he was a rookie and for the last several years, he has performed very poorly against the better the teams is very concerning. He also has not been very consistent in his play, we have all seen it. Play like crap for 3 q and then lights out for a Q, to either win or get close to winning, just play well for all 4 Q most weeks, not so much up and down play. And I am really concerned about his return from injury. It took him almost a year to recover from being sacked a few times against ATL, I hope he has grown some and is prepared mentally to return from his injury and not see ghosts and panic like he did after the ATL game.

So while Dak is the QB and I will fully support him and cheer for him on Sundays because I want to Win, I think we could have spent the Cap money better than on his contract, I still have him around middle of the pack of QBs and paying him like the best was a silly decision by our FO.

yep, looks like we are the only two who saw this. He was seeing ghosts the rest of that year and half of the next year because of the Atlanta game.

I have no issue with some of your concerns but it’s not on Dak for his contract. It’s on our ownership and front office.

They pay the best we got the best contracts in the league and fans buy into the money hype must equal talent equation,, thats been the true handicap,, that equation has been a proven failure.

Choking you say?

2. Tied for second-most game-winning drives in first four seasons
Prescott had 14 game-winning drives in his first four seasons, tied with Russell Wilson for the second-most in the NFL since 1970 (AFL-NFL merger). Only Matt Ryan (16) has more game-winning drives in his first four seasons than Prescott and Wilson.

Prescott's 15 game-winning drives are the fifth-most in the NFL since 2016 (his rookie season). Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford, and Derek Carr are tied for the most with 18, while Wilson has 16.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

What a choker eh?
I addressed this he’s getting worse what is it 1 since 2018 and that was the famous watermelon kick team coached by the new DC didn’t that team also give up 49 points. Great stat against the scrub teams against the good team it becomes a team stat right. This is the year he needs to shows if he is what you believe he is or the choker he has been the last 5 seasons, I hope he does great but he hasn’t shown it to this point not sure what is going to change to make that happen.

The Garrett debacle was the best. What did Jerry say? Something about he didn't want some other team to reap the rewards of all the training he put into Jason. lmao.

Oh I agree. Which is why I called the FO silly for doing it. But he wanted it, he signed it, he has to own it now. And right or wrong, you sign that type of contract, expectations go along with it.

But who is the bigger fool if Dak doesn’t meet expectations. The player for pursuing it or the owner and staff for agreeing to it.

No, if Dak under performs then our powers that be will be held responsible for a very poor evaluation of talent.

Ya, Jerry never wants to admit he drilled a dry hole and move on.
What’s conflicting for me with our revenue driven owner is even if Dak doesn’t meet our team goal expectations his entertainment value could meet his expectations.

Win or lose Dak is a very marketable product for our owner.

After countless threads and endless debate..... there you have it.

You're right of course but that is not how this works. The folks that love Dak, and there are a lot, will blame everyone under the sun, ,he only had 4 All pro OL, 4 All Pro WR and 2 future HOF TE, how can he be expected to win with that type of talent around him, type logic as we have seen for the last several years. Or something like, I know he threw 9 interceptions and fumbled 4 other times in the game but the call on 3rd and 1 was stupid and cost us the game. Or the D gave up a field goal, they suck and cost us the game. And the folks that hate Dak and there are many of them as well, will find just as many reasons to not give him any credit.

Some how the FO gets off the hook a lot for these things while the fans argue about who is right or wrong about said player.

I understand but those are fans I have no value for.

Unfortunately the powers to be never see what they did wrong because they never do anything wrong. If this team fails yet again Dak is just one of many many mistakes made by the FO based on the Jerry football equation his way is the only way and good offense is what wins championships and everyone just needs to say yes mr. Jones to grab some$$$$

I like that, Dak has never lost a game, Cowboyroy is proud of you, he may make a new thread to point this little known stat out to everyone.
