Man winning three straight on the road is almost impossible. I would equate it to the home team in the NBA finals winning the 3 home games. I know the heat did it last year, but its rare. Romo has given this team some life & hopefully it will carry over to the skins game.

7-3 aftert he Colts sounds better!

This is a tough league and we have some work ahead. I think it comes down to the passion of this team...I know the talent is there to "Get R Done"...

I'm actually very excited to see our defense face the Colts. With all the current excitement based on offense, this is what I'm most looking forward too. Well, this and beating the crap out of the deadskins!

There's nine eggs in front of us and none of them are chickens yet.

Mickey thinks that the team is somehow different with Romo playing,,,,I agree. If we play with some emotion and limit errors, we can go 6-3, and play the Colts close.

We must take care of business at Washington this week or none of this means anything.

It will even tranish the Carolina game somewhat if we don't take care of the skins.

If we want this season to be anything at all, we have to win this week.

Got that right. Right now my only concern is getting to 5-3 on the season.

One game at a time. I still do not think we will beat Indianapolis.

Of course 6-3 is a possibility, just far from a guarantee.

I think these next two games are perhaps the most important of those remaining because it'll be difficult to lose to either of these two lesser opponents on the road and "make it up" against the likes of Indy, the Giants, or suddenly gelling Falcons.

I don't either. But I also don't think that one is a necessity.

Washington and Arizona ARE!

Yeah. I understand the whole 1 game at a time cliche. That's all wonderful. However, Last week I said the pivotal game that would make the true difference on this road trip was the Carolina game. We win that and the confidence gained from that would carry over into the next two. Rest assured, this is a quiet confidence. Bill is not going to let this team get too high. At the same time they now have something to be excited about. Spreading the love on offense has a rippling effect on both sides of the ball. The defense gets jacks watching the offense provide that cushion in spectacular fashion and the offense gets up simply due to the fact that Romo shares the wealth and moves the ball.

Bill won't have this team looking beyond any single game but we will return home 6-3.

If so Dallas still need to learn to win down the stretch, twice Parcells' teams have gotten off to comfortable starts and fade in the final third of the season.
In 2003 Dallas started 7-2 and finished the remaining seven games 3-4.
Last year Dallas was 7-3 heading into thanksgiving to drop four of the last six and finish 9-7.
We have been here before, the trick is to be 6-3 and then keep on marching until 10, 11 or 12 victories are in the bag.

And as soon as we drop a game the sky will once again be falling. People do this all the time they get way ahead of themselves start looking at the schedule and saying we win this one and this one and when it does not happen some of you start freaking out all over again. It just gets old. Dallas did very well last Sunday but this team has to learn to be consistent. I’m not saying this team will not be 6-3 but right now they have shown they can win a game and lose a game we have not shown the ability as of yet to win 4 or 5 games in a row.

I wasn't part of that whole sky is falling movement. However, I was part of the "Drew is patting" movement. ;) Freedom of speech is a beautiful thing. My thoughts aren't unrealistic. Will we win the next 10? No. will we return home 6-3 to face the mighty Colts? Yes.

So am I still crazy this week?

If we're even thinking that this is a playoff team, then 6-3 is a necessity.

These next two games are "gotta win to be in" games. If we want in the playoffs this year, then taking care of teams we should beat are essential.

No one ever is part of that movement until we drop a game and for the rest of the week we will hear how we will never win another game, the draft talk starts up and my favorite who is the next HC. Don't get me wrong I'm very excited about the prospect of this team and Romo but sometimes it is like a broken record around here. When you get down to it 1 game at a time is not much of a cliché but just the simple truth in today’s NFL where 1 min teams are looking very good and the next they look like sh**

Can you imagine the welcome Romo and the 6-3 Cowboys would receive if they return home to Texas Stadium with a 3 game road win streak and Romo's first start in Texas Stadium.

:star: :starspin :star:

The place should be rocking !
