I think if you canvassed this whole forum before the season and asked the question "Would you be happy after 10 games if the Cowboys were 7-3 and in first place in the NFC East with a sweep of the Eagles" to a member the answer would have been a resounding YES!!!!!. Does this team have holes? Sure but so does every other team. This team still has its best football ahead of it. My only real concern is the Oline and I am hoping they can straighten it all out by Week 14. So enjoy your first place Dallas Cowboys fellas.

Perspective -

We are in about as good a shape as could ever have been expected... So funny to read all the gloom and dispair out there. Whatever.

We have the Bronco's out of their stadium. I like our chances if we challenge Plummer. He's going to rattle.

Dallas fans are never satisified. Nothing less than perfection will do. Even after winning the Super Bowl 52-17, some fans complained that Lett should have had that fumble return TD to set a scoring record.

That is why I try and stay away from those fans. LOL

Well, I'll remind you and others that read my post. I predicted us to end the regular season 13-3, no less than 12-4,winning the division and sweeping the eagles.
As I said after we lost the Commanders and the Raiders game, I said that because we lost those two games, that we were going to win 2 games that the so called experts, picked us to lose, and I picked the eagles as the team that we would get those two losses back.

So 7-3, is great and after Thursday 8-3 will be even better.
All those that predicted 9-7, you have 2 weeks left for your prediction to come true.
I am for sure that 9-7, will be surpassed by 4 games or at least 3.

I would have told you that you were in a fantasy world or that you must have somehow gotten a hold of Nate Newton's van! :D

Only prediction I had was that we would make the playoffs as of right now we are ahead of where I thought we would be but we have not achived the goal as of yet. Lots of hard work yet to be done.

We went into Thanksgiving in 2003 looking at a healthy 8-3. We then got clobbered by the Dolphins (at home) and then the Eagles.

If history is any indication, we have to be wary and not rest on our laurels.

7-3 is nice, but we still have 6 difficult games to play. We no longer have the Cards and Lions to beat up on ... road trips to NY, Washington, and Carolina can all spell misfortune.

If we're not careful, we can wind up hitting a bad skid ... which will take us out of the division title hunt.

I would've never thought this team would be as good as it is right now with all the rooks playing, a new QB, new FA's, etc.

But still, we're Cowboys fans, we expect greatness, but that doesn't mean I'm not giddy about sweeping the Eagles or being tied for 1st in the NFC East.

I'm happy that I'm not sulking on a Monday morning.

The worst is to go through the week "expecting" a loss, and of course, we lose.

It's nice to be able to predict wins ... and then WIN.

The 7-3 patriots faced Denver and got hammered 34-6 in 1996, the only other time Drew was 7-3.
