This D just can't get off the field and I see teams continuing to expose us. I am not looking forward to these next three games to be honest. The think the next game against GB could get real ugly.

7-9 is a real possibility.

This team needs to draft D Lineman and when they are done draft more D lineman. In this league - no QB pressure means huge yards and a ton of points. We are the poster child for this. We get picked apart by some very average guys due to this.

I don't think Red goes this year but next year there needs to be a serious improvement.
I can't define much longer.

I look at this team from when he took over and nothing has improved, and I mean nothing. He has not made this team any better, heck they are worse if anything

You can be the greatest head coach in the world, however if you don't have the players that can play at a high level then it doesn't really matter.

Massive injuries all year on defense....is that Red's fault? can't say that it is....is that Kiffin's fault? can't say that it is...what IS their fault is building a defense around having a pass rush and expecting their original down 4 to apply that pressure....two of those 4 didn't play and our future HOF, is getting zero push....no pass rush means we get torched by back-ups like McCown

What about the O then? Im sorry JG has done NOTHING to make this team better year in and year out. He is not a good HC by any stretch

How about that potent offense that now runs through Garrett?

When was the last time two rookie DT were the anchor of a successful defense? We are years away from contention. And sadly by the time we are ready, it will be time to replace Romo. Back at square one.

I’ve been saying this since the season started. Garrett has to make the playoffs to keep his job. Unless we go 10-6 (somehow) and miss the playoffs, he’s gone.

With that said, I do NOT want him fired IF the pool of coaches to select from is lousy. I do not want another scenario that we have to choose from coaches like Wade, Norv, Petrino, Cam Cameron, Lane Kiffin and Mike Tomlin (who basically inherited a stacked team).

Lovie Smith is on the market and he knows how to coach defense. Although I’m a bit concerned about how well he develops offensive talent.

How many consecutive losses would it take for Jerrah to either sell the team or hire a real GM (and actually stay out of his way)?

Whatever number that is I want it to happen.

This team needs either A) a skins on the wall coach and brings an attitude adjustment and a fear factor, or B) A candidate from the college ranks with a proven track record of success at multiple levels of coaching.

And Lovie will NOT provide either. He's another stoic ala Garrett/Wade/Frazier. This team will NOT perform to potential with this approach to coaching, and that is PROVEN.

This team is spoiled rotten and plays like it. It has possibly 3 players with championship mettle. The rest are not necessarily paycheck players, but there is no spine to this club whatsoever and it begins with its current HC, and the players leech off his rhetoric to the point of mimic.

JJ cant bring JG back can he?

I said several weeks ago, the only way I can see Garrett getting fired is for 2 things to happen:

A. Cowboys go 7-9
B. Giants win the division.

Now that "B" is not possible, I totally expect JG to be head coach next year. We'll hear from the buffoon owner that the team is real close and now is not the time to make a head coaching change. He'll dump both coordinators and tell us how they now have the right guys in place. He'll proclaim that with Garrett as head coach, Romo as QB, and an extra large bottle of secret sauce, 2014 looks to be a smashing success.

Works for me.

I don't want to ditch the games to get Garrett fired..

..but Garrett has to go.

We may not have a choice.

..the defense seems mortally wounded and that will probably be our downfall.

I disagree with this. I don't think the team plays like spoiled children. I think that we are just outgunned and outschemed on defense right now. We don't have the men to play good defense and the Tampa 2 is virtually obsolete. I don't think it has anything to do with heart. I also think that Lovie could succeed here. He doesn't have serious skins on the wall like Shanahan did when he was on the market but he did take the Bears to the Super Bowl. Besides, with Shanahan's success or lack thereof in Washington we've seen that a skins on the wall coach doesn't always mean wins.
