Was the reason Favre passed the ball on 4th and one yesterday.. 105.3 fm is reporting that Favre hinted at that in his press conference yesterday.

Yeah I remember that game. Reggie White threw a fit. That was only to get Boniol the record.

It had shades of that Michael Jordan hall of fame speech. Still holding on to grudges. Don't blame him, I guess. ROFLMAO

If I remember that game correctly, the Cowboys kicker was going for a record. I can't blame the Cowboys for kicking that field goal. Then again, I'm not upset that the Vikings scored on 4th and 3.

Payback is always a game away. Unfortunately, we have to wait so long. :(

Whatever floats your boat. I still think they're in for a very, very rude awakening next week against New Orleans. There's no way Sean Payton won't go vertical on Antoine Winfield and Cedric "Where's My Ankles" Griffin.

I think the Saints will score 51 points on them. Sharper gets 2 INT's for touchdowns, then Favre retires for good.

I don't think them going for a FG would have been as big. Big difference going for a FG record and a TD pass on 4th.

Also, how about taking the higher road? Don't bring up the past and complain about it then do the same thing.

Mr. Favre, Hypocrisy is on the phone, line two.

Switzer was throwing F-bombs right back at White that night during the incident, it was funny. The Bootlegger's Boy could get riled up from time to time on the sideline, in spite of the mostly "Wooden Indian" reputation he had here, LOL. Will never forget the "I was just trying to show them what Deion does to Michael" explanation to Chris Mortensen on the field after the 1994 NFC Championship when he'd drawn that 15 yarder for grabbing the referee.

I don't remember seeing Switzer only Irvin. That was a Monday Night game. I was in eigth grade. I knew we'd win.

"Minister" Reggie White was such a fraud - and a punk.

Actually I got why Dallas did it back then, for the record, but I wasn't a fan of that either. I didn't think it was necassary and I never liked it.

But I expected it coming from Barry. Running up scores was his thing at OU, as it is many college coaches, and like I've said when you're winning and what not you have the right to do whatever you want to.

I just don't have to like it. :)

But, as for that being something Brett hinted at, really? You're going to use that as an ok for what a team, and coach, did to you that has nothing to do with this team?

I mean it's not like you just stuck it to Chris or Barry or any of the Cowboys team that was actually there back then.

Seriously. Half our team was in grade school when that happened.

Yeah, i was trying to remember if Favre had some kind of grudge against us other than never beating us in the playoffs.

He probably knows he's going to retire and never face us again so ran it up. I'm not that mad about it, i just know Tony would have never done that.

If he plays us next year he's getting knocked out of the game.

Barry Switzer was awesome.

How so? By using Jimmy Johnson's team to win what would have been JJ's 4th Super Bowl in a row? Barry has been and always will be a joke. He couldn't beat Miami when he was at OU, Aikman knew he was a fraud so he transferred to UCLA, and just like Clinton, he's another Arkansas man addicted to other people's wives. Sorry, I really find no area in which Barry is awesome other than at getting caught toting guns into airports....

I think Brett Favre just had something to prove against us and do you want to be the one to stop him? Didn't think so. A motivated Brett Favre right now scares the piss out of me and anybody for that matter.

I think we would have had home field advantage with Jimmy. To my recolection Switzer only beat those under the table cheaters once.

We lost twice in 1994, once in 95 and beat them in 96 in overtime.

I remember the 1994 regular season game as I was sick as a dog and that game made me sicker. We were down 14-7 in the fourth quarter and Aikman threw an INT to the ostrich. We went down 21-7 and then made it close but lost.
