This is pretty much how I am as well. I have my own predictions, I'm a realist and the most probable outcome is that we don't make the playoffs. BUT, anyone acting like it's not a remote possibility that we run the table is just being a pessimist. It's not unheard of to win out.

And, you know, our team isn't THAT bad. I would understand if we were getting blown out every week, but we weren't. We were in every game but one with a QB that is no longer even on this team and another who has only been here for 2 months.

Like I said to your friend, I'm usually the one leading the "reality" and "realist" threads, but a couple of you make me want to jump ship and become a happy fan club member.! I mean why even bother taking time to be a fan. Seems like it would be a completely depressing waste of time to even watch the games with that type of approach.

No, I'm a realist. This season was completely wasted and it's utterly and completely idiotic to think that we're suddenly going to go on a run and make the playoffs.

The only saving grace for this season would have been to get a top draft pick out of it. But unfortunately our ownership, and too many of our fans, are far too idiotic to realize that is the best case for this team going forward.

I've been a Cowboys fan for well over 30 years now and it's frustrating to see us get on these stupid "moral victories" at the end of the season that don't do anything to improve our team. Had they won just a game or few during Romo's absence then my attitude would be different. But these mental midgets couldn't even do that.

That just goes to show that Jerruh truly isn't interested in winning at the end of the day but rather dangling the carrot in front of the fans face just enough to get them to continue opening up their pocket books and keep buying the garbage that they put out on the field. And guess what, this year will be no different.
