8 key offensive players may miss the Jets game

Despite these injuries, the Cowboys have been very fortunate on the injury front magnitude/length of time. Imagine losing a Nick Boss impact player for the season. Or your premier left tackle like Rashawn Slater before the season even begins. The Cowboys have generally avoided the catastrophic injury riddled seasons for decades. The training staff is doing outstanding.
Oh....hello Jerry!

How does the “ training staff “ prevent high ankle sprains or concussions ?

For me...it's not just prevention of injuries. Although I do think proper conditioning certainly helps. And I'm not saying the Cowboys DON'T do that.

But I HAVE seen the Cowboys play injured players. And ...possibly...no proof...sit players that have a very insignificant injury...and probably could.

Romo and Zeke are two players I know for a fact...should not have been playing injured. okay...so they WANT to play? Nope!

They played last week against a much better team without Booker and Beebe. The also had Guyton out of the game at times too. Thomas, Hoffman and Bass did okay. If Tyler Smith misses time the things get a bit dicey. I have not seen Adeniji play much so I have no idea what he will look like at LG. Too bad they don't have Asim Richards. He could to to LT or LG. If he plays LT, then Thomas could probably be a stud at LG.

I think they will miss Turpin more on special teams that on offense. He doesn't get that many targets on offense to begin with. But is is nice to have his speed.

This is a game when we should expect the defense to step up and do something other than make another middling QB looks like a future HoFer..

Seems to happen 10 to one against Dallas as opposed to other teams.
So you tell me how other teams prevent it.
There are other teams with crazy injuries

Ravens 7 out / 4 questionable
Vikings 6/3
Panthers 5/3
Saints 4/7
Cowboys 5/6
Niners 5/2
Panthers 4/3
Titans 4/4

The players have complained about the training room and staff availability, but not necessarily quality of care.

I do believe that it’s possible Jerry cheaps out and we know he rewards loyalty and hates to turn over staff. Once you’re in, you’re in.

True. Other teams use giant, fluffy cartoon helmets and put protective casts around the legs of their players...Well, at least the giant, fluffy cartoon helmets thing is true ...for a few players.

Typical year.

Anyone want to defend the training staff still?
No. But I’d like to hear your argument. I don’t pay much attention to injury specifics to defend or blame the training staff. I know there are some ankle and concussion issues that I don’t think you can control.
I mean the C grade given to the training staff/room from the NFLPA could point to being the reason why @jazzcat22 is saying this as well as others.:

I spend a fair bit of time on other fan's forums. Do you know I hear the *exact* *same* un-informed notion...that their team in always the most injured.

Just one example? The Chargers this week are possibly down four would-be starting o-linemen, a RB and a receiver.

Last year the Lions literally lost NINE starting defensive players for the season or for extended periods.
