But, I'm gonna ask it anyway.

I know that we don't know the schedule yet but is there a way of narrowing down what the bye week might be? I know we rotate the schedules with different divisions but was wondering if the bye week can be narrowed to a small window.

We are going to Disney again this year and need this vital information so I book it.

Priorities people, priorities!

It won't be in Sept. or after Thanksgiving.

That eliminates half the schedule.

Hey it's a start. :D

Think you're on to something.

Been in this situtation a few times myself. Knowledge of the teams bye is pretty important info to have for planning out the fall.

I wonder if the NFL determines this early on in the scheduling process. From what I understand the whole thing is fairly difficult and takes time.

If the bye weeks are figured out early on perhaps the NFL could release them before they announce the schedule.

Can't answer about the schedule but can answer about this.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I live 15 minutes from Disney and I'm so glad you understand when to go to vacation there. Everybody goes at the same time March/April and summer. It's 95 degrees 100% humidity and you wait 2 hours to get on a ride. It's an absolute zoo.

But... you go in the fall, it's 75 degrees and you have the whole place to yourselves. The value of your vacation and enjoyment triples. People complain about school and their kids.

Trust me, if you wanna go to Disney bad enough, get the kids assignments for a week and go in November. I've educated my family and friends from Buffalos for years.

P.S. Lots of good places to watch the Cowboys in Orlando. Big fan base. Just make a post when you're going and lots of fans will help you.

Yeah, we went last year for the first time in Sept. We loved it and while it was still hot, in the high 80s and 90s it wasn't unbearable. We had a blast. Plus I watched the Cowboys/Giants game in the hotel room.

Don't bye weeks start week 3 or 4 at the earliest?
Week 4 at earliest, I think. No team has had a bye week at week 3 since 2006. We had a bye week in week 3 in 2006.

In 2008 I went to Disney when we played at Green Bay and kicked their butts. I watched from the ESPNZone Bar and had a great time. It was a free ride to and from my Hotel.

just out of interest, how did you come up with that? any particular reasoning behind certain games on those dates?

If you can, stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. We went there last summer (yes it was uber hot and rained just about every day but we had a blast). We had a safari room and the animals came right in front of the room to graze. My son loved it.

He kept yelling to them "what's your name"
