Why if we had Newman Henry and Pacman? I would rather we trade the 22nd for Hall. I mean he is proven.

yea i agree....but i doubt we are going to do much running, and we most def wont be doing much running if we don't get an above average CB, because teams will tear our Secondary to shreds, and we will have to play shoot out

especially if Newman or Henry go down again, its bad enough having roy out there

but we do not need J. Reeves part 2 out there, or Derek Ross 2.0

There's a rumor, emphasis on the rumor, that the Skins might offer Betts and #21. I would absolutely hate it if we did that, but it's an indication that the #28 might not be enough.

If thats the case have him

you guys need him, especially with your QB :)...and moss jumping up and down after every catch, talk about dramatic

It will be 2005 all over again, when our D faced Fitz and Boldin, your qb is just as good as he was...Newman and henry did a good job vs them

I'd hate to make this trade because I'm worried about how many miles Portis has left in him, and I'd much rather focus on our Oline and Dline.

ya i feel you

i think we could use him though....

all jokes aside though...he would be an upgrade to your offense

i think you guys just need a better D-line really, your o-line is not all that bad

While Pacman is very talented he is also not dependable. If Newman or Henry were injured like last year and you only had Pac and if he were suspended again where would we be? Regardless of what happens to Pac in my opinion we have to draft a cb in round one.

Exactly whether we pick up pacman or not we need to draft a CB in the 1st.. Im not a big Henry fan so i would love to see him move down to 3..

They're not bad, but the youngest of them is 30. We need some younger guys getting ready to step in.

I guess Randy Moss, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, TO, Peyton Manning and every other star should be traded because they had one bad game,, Shoot by ur standards U would have traded troy Aikman who did not win one game as a rookie starting QB........

No need for a 1st round CB when Chevis Jackson and Justin King are expected to fall to the 4th.
No need for WR in the first if Hardy falls to the second and even if he doesn't we could pick up Jordy Nelson in the 3rd.
This off season could end up pretty nice. You trade the 28th and Ayodele for Boldin.(Even if the Skins wanted him and were crazy enough to give up their first and Betts they wouldn't be able to pay him what he is going to want after Javon Walker, Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald's new deals and T.O. is expected to cash in to.) Then ya Trade the 5th for Pacman draft Jordy Nelson in the 3rd Justin King in the 4th trade the 5th for Pacman and package Carpenter, Spears and 2 1st rounders to move up and grab McFadden at 3rd or 4th overall. Or you plan to draft Jones and if McFadden Slides down to 7th you make the trade with the Pats.
Next year if T.O. is asking for some crazy number you franchise him and make a trade then ya sign Roy Williams to fill T.O.'s void.
There are alot of options at CB and WR. We need to look at the best RB in the draft and try to get a hold of him. I mean What if McFadden turns out to be AP? That would open up some huge holes for Boldin, T.O. and Witten. If teams decide to key up on them then McFadden can burn them in the run and on dump offs and screens.
Marion while very exciting to watch just doesn't have #1 potential. I would love to keep him as a #2 but what happens when he plays every game like he played the Giants game? We have a hard enough time in December with 2 backs what do we do if he burns out half way through the season or worst he gets injured? I love him he is fun to watch but the numbers speak for themselves. There is a reason he has always been a backup and Id rather not find out the hard way when we are so close to a ring.
Even a trade to Miami wouldn't be so horrible. I mean the Ricky Williams and #1 overall sounds pretty good. I know he has his problems but he and Pac will be on their best from here on out. Even better 22 and next years first along with Fassano, Barber and another "Pacells Guy" for Porter, Ricky and the #1 overall wouldn't be all that bad.
1. Boldin
2. Pacman
3. Ricky
4. McFadden
5. King
6. Nelson
for
1. 3 1st
2. Ayodele
3. Fassano
4. Barber

So the only starter we would lose is Barber and I think a Ricky Williams/ Darren McFadden tandem would beat Marion any day.
A T.O./Boldin tandem along with Witten is just nasty.
Porter in our line? WOW!
We could bring the house with Pacman, Henry and Newman.
And we would get young at WR, CB and RB. The only reason King will fall so far is because of stupid teenage stuff that has him labeled as a bad kid. Jordy Nelson would have gone in the 1st if he had played WR his whole career. And McFadden well that just speaks for it self.

Oh and for those of you worried about the Safety spot check out Marion Barber's little bro.

all i get from this is when you have two of the best WR in the league its hard to keep them. The Cards were happier with Boldin during the season Fitz spoke out publically and stated he wanted out this is a no discussion waste of time and waste of board space and theres already a thread about this on the first page just scroll down next time

BARBER ISN'T A ROOKIE! He should be able to play at this level by now. Are you saying you know more then a HOF coach? Because Parcells didn't seem to think this kid was #1 worthy. What do you see that he doesn't?

I would be all for Betts and our first for Boldin, he'd be crazy good in a WCO. Betts, at this point, is pretty expendable. I'm not sure, but didn't we pick up a roster bonus this year so that would pretty much kill the deal I'm thinking.

The Cowboys I'm not so sure could afford it capwise either. I'm assuming Boldin is going to want a new deal and how will TO like being paid less than Boldin? Either way though, bringing Boldin to the NFC East would be bad news for the other three teams, dude is good. Worth a first and maybe somebody thrown in as well.

Dude I love the Cowboys as much as anyone but check out Barber's second half stats as a starter. He needs some real help. I will be pissed if we pay #1 money to him. He is not a #1.
If you re-watched the game and focused on the OL (like I did), you'd notice that Barber had NO room to run in the 2nd half. The Giants DL wore our OL down completely, which is why Romo was running for his life late and we scored a measly 3 points in the entire half.

I also found it interesting that you ignored Barber's dynamic 1st half. In total, he had 27 carries for 129 yards (4.8 average) and a TD.

Make no mistake about it: he wasn't our "starter" during the regular season, but he was our #1 RB last year. He was the guy defenses worried about, and there's a reason he was in Hawaii after the Super Bowl.
Are you saying you know more then a HOF coach? Because Parcells didn't seem to think this kid was #1 worthy. What do you see that he doesn't?
You don't know what you're talking about. Since leaving the 'Boys, Parcells has spoken very highly of Barber and stated that Barber would have been his lead RB IF the Cowboys had a true 3rd down RB on the roster, somebody like a Dave Meggett.
