A couple of fans blamed the offense for the loss because they scored 0 pts in the 3rd qtr

That's BS. The offense scored 31 pts and that should always be enough to win the game. Every team in the NFL who won today scored more than 20 pts and some idiots fans are blaming the offense instead of the defense?

So is the defensive coordinator ever going to be demoted or fired or will he continue to be employed while the team continues to blow double digit leads? Yes they could have scored in the 3rd Qtr but I am not putting this loss on the offense at all after these leads the last two weeks

17-6
21-6

They followed that up with a 9 minute TD drive to take the lead, and the defense gave it back in barely a minute.

But Switzer is to blame for the Rams with his fumble?

That happened in the 4th quarter.

We had 1 possession in the 3rd quarter. It was a 6 play drive where we threw a screen pass to T-Will on what was a good play call, but both Tyron and Cooper were unable to block the tackler. If they had blocked the tackler, it's a first down.

Yes. Without question. The defense takes some of the blame for the Rams game. But Switzers muffed punt was huge. The defense was actually doing good until that play. The Rams got some momentum and eventually won the game. This game against GB is on the D. Not the offense. The Offense did its job. One really bad play, the tipped ball that turned into a pick six. You can put that one on TWill. That was a good pass from Dak. Right where it needed to be. D could not stop GB all game. They missed 2 XP and still won the game??? Really??? Defense is the worst in the league!!

So that pick 6 didn't give GB momentum? How exactly do you judge the amount of momentum a team gets to define a particular win?

And it wasn't 'right where it needed to be'.. TWill should have caught it, but it was to the back shoulder of TWill on a basic stop route.. that's why it bounced right to the DB behind him..

Look at the scrubs we have on defense. How many times do you expect them to stop Aaron Rodgers. Twill gave them 7 points. Use your brain.

This one game aside, we have a total of 7 points in 5 games in the 3rd quarter. In a vacuum today was not a big deal, but it's become a pattern of getting our ***** handed to us in the 3rd.

What's it going to be then, eh?

That is on the coaching making adjustments at halftime.

Wait, I am sorry.

What I meant to say is that we should all be in awe of what is being built here and that we are so on our way to taking over the league.

I would say it did not give them momentum. Cowboys came right back and drove down the field. Held the ball for most of the 4th Qtr too. No sir. And that pass was good. Really good. If you watch it again, it was right were it needed to be. The defender guarding TWill was on the inside, so Dak put the ball outside. If TWill uses his hands to attempt the catch, worse case is a dropped pass IMO. Trying to use his body, that one is all on him. Good throw from Dak.

The pick 6 was huge. But to a slightly lesser extent the missed blocks by Tyron and Cooper on 1 guy on the T-Will screen was huge as well. If either one of them is able to block the defender, it's a first down and continues the drive.

I'm just trying to figure out T-Will's purpose. Yeah, he's a good blocking WR...but he's really about the equivalent of a small blocking TE at this point. I'd rather see Noah Brown or Butler in at this point.

It was not a good pass. Catcheable and being a good pass are two different things.

And they scored because they stopped trying to pass and went to Zeke..

I'm getting tired of Witten as our primary TE honestly..

I agree. And I also believe we have see QBs make throws to lead their receivers away from trouble before. TWill makes that catch with his hands and maybe he gets the 1st down headed to the sideline. Maybe not, but he has a better chance of making a good play if the ball is placed where it was. And it not like he was falling to the ground trying to stop and make the catch, the pass was not too wide, too low or too high. It was were it needed to be for the best play to be made by the receiver. Just my opinion.

I don't mind it if we had the pass protection for it to allow our WR's to go deep and for Witten to work underneath past the chains.

Instead, we try to go with quick passes and too often have Witten run well short of the first down marker which does us no good since he isn't a YAC guy.

What I saw out today's game is that we kept finding 1 person to screw it up. The entire O-Line would block well except for Collins on 1 play. Then the next play we would get everybody blocking except for Frederick. Then the next play we would get blocking except for Witten. Or everyone blocking except for Tyron.

It wasn't until we went to 21 personnel that we started getting the running game going. The issue is that 21 personnel isn't very passing friendly.
