I agree. And I also believe we have see QBs make throws to lead their receivers away from trouble before. TWill makes that catch with his hands and maybe he gets the 1st down headed to the sideline. Maybe not, but he has a better chance of making a good play if the ball is placed where it was. And it not like he was falling to the ground trying to stop and make the catch, the pass was not too wide, too low or too high. It was were it needed to be for the best play to be made by the receiver. Just my opinion.
It was a stop route if I remember.. how does one get to the sidelines? He turned away from the sideline to plant his feet and turn around.. Dak threw it BEHIND him towards the sideline, opposite the direction TWill turned...
