Good news. Scandrick's the kind of guy I'd have liked playing with. Smart, competitive, and doesn't back down from anybody. I'm glad he's back.

i am pulling for them wish them all the luck in the coming season. But I am not going to have my expectation really high so if they don't do well like last several years then I wont be disappointed.

Will be interesting and nice to see him and Jones in the secondary together. Throw in Mo coming off a decent season, as well as fully healthy too.

Our defense is frustrating. We've got some players in Lee and McClain and Lawrence and Crawford and Scandrick and Jones. We've got ok rotational guys in places. We're missing playmakers up front and need to upgrade the Safeties.

I'm interested in seeing how Mo plays this year, too. Another contract year, and coming off of a positive season last season. Hopefully he stays healthy through camp and sets himself up nicely for a nice big payday on the open market next offseason.

Meanwhile, we've got a couple of open S jobs that need filling. Jones takes one of them, but it would be nice to have another guy in place this season to step in next year when we let Wilcox and Church (probably) both walk.

Only problem is the pass rush is worse this year.

Any lift we get has to basically come from development from Lawrence/Crawford/Gregory. It's hard to look at that rotation of DLs and feel very comfortable with it. Bosa would change things, but at a high price.

It's more fun to say our coach is clueless about the game and the owner is a bumbling alcoholic fool

Well, the second part of that is true. Jerry loved him some Johnny Football and Johnny Walker Blue.

I agree with this, but I also think a healthier Crawford and NFL caliber technique in Thornton might also help a bit. Pressure up the middle makes a big difference.

Not surprised. Scandrick is a dawg and a competitor. No wasting time rehabbing. Romo could learn something from him.

Eh, I will never believe he was all that enamored with JF. I think he was just being polite to him and his oil biz family with all his talk. The blue label, ok.ha

It was free PR to Jerry. Let us dominate that section of the first round draft talk.

Tony came out and said the next day that he knew in advance what the team was generally considering and knew that JF was never really on the menu.

Because a guy whose had to rehab, a hand injury, two back surgeries, cracked ribs, two broken collar bones , and who knows what else needs to learn how to rehab from a guy with only one major injury. Mmkay.
