Merriman had an interview on NFL Network tonight and Marshall asked him straight up, "What supplement is it that you took, Shawne?" Merriman replied saying something along the lines of, "Um... uh.... well.... I take full responsibility, but I can't tell you what supplement it is. My lawyer and I are working on it."
I can't stand this guy. His story is as transparent as my car's windshield. And the guys on the show commended him for being a "class act" at the end of the interview. Unbelievable...
Also, Mike Patterson received a 7-year extension with the Eagles halfway through his second season. I guess it's better than Shawn Andrews' 7-year extension after 1 non-injured season. Is this really necessary? I guess the Eagles can do whatever, but 7 year deals when 5 years are left on the current deal just seem weird to me. Anyways, just wanted to get that off my chest.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, unless you provide me with a .9 mm I wouldn't have said anything bad about him while he's on the set either...Haa!
