A defense that allows 39 points at home? Going to the playoffs?

What? The Cowboys defense has been allowing something like 350 yards per game the last four games? Well there goes my newfound positive outlook.

Something like 30 points allowed per game for the last four games?
That is going to be a tough, tough row to hoe in the playoffs.

To be competitive, the Cowboys are not only going to have to improve, they are going to have to completely turn it around. In a week.

Anybody offer some reasons why Seattle should not be able to score 30 points against the 'Boys and gain 350-plus yards against them? The mantra has been: Seattle will be easy. Remember, the Lions are second only to the Raiders as being the very worst. Except today.

A columnist pointed out that, today, Kenyon Coleman was the second best pass rusher on the defense. That is scary. This is a defensive unit on its heels.

Seattle has been playing better on Offense lately, but on D they are banged up. Ill be really suprised if we don't score more than 24 points Saturday. It will be up to the D if we win or not.

our team has the players and the talent our defensive coach isn't the real deal he needs to go. Or a high profile defensive player needs to go, to show the slackers that we arent't playing around. So long as it isn't T.new or Roy I am cool with it.

You guys really have to believe me when I say we have the SAME problems as you do. It's a perfect matchup for both sides, I think. Both defenses SUCK. Our ALREADY sucky defense is injured, too. The only thing we have good is our linebackers.

31 points should be enough to beat anybody in this league, let alone the Lions. I don't put anything on the offense in that game. The defense is almost solely responsible for this one. Even Newman looks vulnerable when you give a quarterback with 4,000 yards eight years to throw.

I'm not exaggerating here, but you could seriously make the case that no tea has played worse defense than we have over the last 4 games.

So I don't see our defense making any stops next week.

And aside from that, Seattle doesn't scare me at all, however the Cowboys look like a team that has already mailed it in, and that's why I see Seattle winning.

The Cowboys are not even going to show up next week.

I have a feeling you may be right.

This is extra bad after watching the Bears implode tonight. If Dallas could put together enough of a defensive performance next week and beat Seattle, the Bears are ripe for the picking. Talk about a team with rattled confidence.

I'll be shocked if we hold Seattle under 35 points.

Our defense is the main problem, but our offense won't do much next week either.

I just think this team has mailed it in, and even if they were intending to put up an effort next week, their psyche has got to be more fragile than mirror glass, as soon as one little thing goes wrong, I expect the team to just go down the drain.

This team looks done, they just mailed it in today. I will be very surprised if we dont get blown out by Seattle next week.

Time for Tuna and his lackies to hit the road:)

The offense doesn't help either when your opponents start 4 drives inside your 40. The offense sucked also. Give them their due.

No heart, generally on defense and specifically in the secondary. Nonetheless . . .

On to the future!
