Of course.

That pales in comparison to what Tebow can do.

Add in the initials J.C. to the above list, and you get Tebow.

Yet another thread about this polarizing player............

One of two things is going to happen, and nobody here has any say in the matter. This board seems to me to be about 65% - 35% in favor of him not being around...............

So, answer me this:

1. For all the die-hard "get rid of him" folks, if he indeed is on the roster come July, will you swallow hard and "get on board" and support the decision?

2. Or, for all you "he's gotta' stay, we need him folks", if he is dealt away and no longer around, will YOU support the decision and "get on board"?

Either way, there's gonna' be a lot of "see, told ya' so's" next season. If he's around, and things go the way they went this year, all the "get rid of him" folks will be armed-for-bear with "told ya' so". If he's gone, and things go the way they went this year, the "keep him" folks will say the same.

Conversely, if we DO improve without him, same thing.
If we DO improve WITH him, all the "we need him" folks will have the ammo.

I'm just curious, with all these strong opinions about this topic, where you will come down if the decision to keep him or not doesn't go your way........

In effect, this is not "another T.O. thread". This is a YOU, THE FAN thread.

Terrell Owens is not the Dallas Cowboys. Tony Romo is not the Dallas Cowboys. Jason Witten is not the Dallas Cowboys. Marion Barber is not the Dallas Cowboys. etc etc etc... What kind of person could call themselves a Dallas Cowboys fan and NOT be onboard with whatever happens.

Every year is a new year and you support the team no matter who's here. Though, I believe he helps the Dallas Cowboys, so I'd be bummed; but I'd still be on board no matter what.

Just as I suspected....................

If you just dropped down from Mars, and read these threads about T.O. since seasons end.....................the strong opinions and the passion, the vitriol and the hard-line, line-in-the-sand stances, you'd swear he's a "deal breaker" either way.

Turns out, that most folks feel as I do: I don't give a crap either way, I just want to win. You''re gonna stay "on board" no matter what. Even if Jerry brings in MIKE VICK, you're gonna' stick with YOUR Cowboys!

You stayed with Dallas through Chan Gailey, Dave Campo, Tank Johnson and Pacman Jones. You remained a camper when Jerry fired Tom Landry. You stuck around through many questionable and bust-filled drafts. And I commend you all for that. No matter what, we're gonna' sink or swim with whoever this team put on the field.


So, thanks for confirming my suspicions. And thanks for participating in my social experiment. Can we NOW put an end to all the T.O. chatter? 'Cause you're not going anywhere either way.................

What will be will be. And you'll be sitting there in front of that T.V. watching come the first week of September irregardless...................

I support the team first and foremost. No one player is bigger than the star.

If TO is here, I hope he scores 5 TDs a game and I will cheer him all the way.


If TO is not here, then I hope RW11 knows what the hell he is doing and I will cheer him all the way.


I guess you could say I am a fan of the team and not a fan of a specific player. Even if Jerry traded for Mike Vick, I would root for the team regardless.
