Now that Bryant is out for a month or so, who is going to be the primary receiver - Witten?
Were you impressed with the Cowboys running game?
Did the Cowboys play THAT poorly or were they sleep walking through the game, which often happens against supposedly inferior opponents? They shouldn't have been but MAYBE they were looking ahead to next week.
I find it hard to believe that the Giants are THAT good or that the Cowboys are THAT bad - but, I guess we will see.
I expect that Williams will be the primary deep threat and they'll rely on Witten and Beasley. I also think they'll use more and more of Dunbar and McFadden as receivers. Perhaps going with 21 personnel, then having Dunbar or McFadden line up out in the slot and give a 3 WR set look and then letting Romo choose whether to run or throw it.
I think the Giants are better on defense. Part of the issue for the Cowboys is that with the Giants blitzing, they were trying to hit quick hitting passes which they did....but, they couldn't break the tackles for big plays. The G-Man tackled very well. But, I don't see much of a pass rush and I think their LB coverage is a problem.
I think the Cowboys were a bit out of sync given that they hardly played in preseason. We also overthought their blitzing too much and that allowed them to set up their blitzes and coverage disguises. The Cowboys rarely look sharp in September. They may get some wins, but they usually don't hit their stride until November.
