Take away two HUGE plays (Jacobs anomaly TD and the Return TD) and we beat the Giants going away. That's what hurts so much about this loss. We play a semi-good game defensively and then give up two dunderheaded plays to seal our defeat. In every game you can "play better," but to lose how we did is just idiotic.

I guess the Vikes know how it feels tonight as well. Guarantee Romo gets more flack for this loss than Favre gets for his, even though Romo played well and Favre stunk it up. Ahhhh, to be America's Team has its privileges.

What was disappointing about today was that we allowed a dominant first half to be literally wiped away over a three-minute stretch. The Giants certainly had a hand in doing it, but no matter the opponent, we always find a way to provide an assist in these kinds of games. The significance of Barber's fumble can't be overstated.

But it's what we do.

The Jacobs TD was hardly anomalous, in my opinion. It was very similar to the long TD runs by McGahee and McClain from last season.

The Cowboys defense is notorious for surrendering big plays during these late season stretches.
