A Happy T-day at Texas Stadium

man that was bittersweet. the weather, the crowd, the tailgating,
and of course THE GAME were all close to perfect.

but a bit of sadness hung with me all day as I couldnt keep from thinking
that this was the last one at Texas Stadium. sure the new place will be great
but i have a lot of memories at the Tabernacle

I have had big family gatherings there on Thanksgiving, I have gone to Thanksgiving Day games with just my dad when he was still alive.

Yesterday i had my wife, son, daughter and her husband and about 65,000
other folks enjoying the whole thing with me.

after the game we saw this little girl with her family. my wife was noticing her rhinestone studded little suit and told me to take her picture....then i
noticed the number 75 on her sweat suit.....duh...maybe thats why all the
adults jerseys had 75 and Columbo on them. Very nice family no matter who they were and graciously allowed me to take her picture. Sweet little girl and I pity the sucker who ever mistreats her.

Nice photos. It looks like you had good seats for the last thanksgiving game at Texas Stadium. In one of those I could see where I was sitting just 4 days before against the 49'ers.

I was also sad thinking about it being the last game at Texas Stadium on Thanksgiving. 38 years of Thanksgiving memories is hard to let go.

I still remember being at my uncle's house on Thanksgiving Day, 1971 and seeing Bob Hayes catch a long TD against the LA Rams. I remember as a kid being amazed at the new stadium.

I was thinking that Fox should have said more about it and perhaps shown some highlights over the past 38 years.

it has a small basket for cooking stuff which we have never used, we have popped popcorn in there.
mainly its for looks because here in texas i would have to turn the air conditioner way down to keep from being too hot if we had a fire going !!

I had just purchased a fujifilm s2000. I still haven't worked with all the buttons on it yet. But I was trying to figure how it compares to some of the others. I had been way up in section 114 for the Niner game.

Thursday was my first Cowboys game EVER. Lets just say it was amazing. What a game to go to. Ware 3 sacks. We score TD's on our first 3 possessions. No TD's allowed. 7 sacks. Just amazing.

First and last visit to Texas Stadium was a blast.

Just wanted to say that Elvis and Uncle Sam are two brothers that I went to college with. Those two were having the time of their lives at the game. Uncle Sam (Bill) gave out 800 US flags to people in the stands and got back about 100 free beers from people.
