Browns DE Orpheus Roye will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Wednesday.
Roye, who was probably Cleveland's best lineman last year, also missed the end of last season on I.R. The Browns won't know how long he'll be out until after the surgery, which doesn't sound good. He could be out through Week 1.

Now if only Brady Quinn would sign and win the starting job! Their season would surely tank then!

I also read the other day that the Soldja, KWII, is slow to recover from off season knee surgery.

From DraftSharks:
--Browns TE Kellen Winslow (knee) is doing a little 7-on-7 work but isn’t going full-speed yet. This past offseason he had his 4th surgery on that right knee since the 2005 motorcycle accident.

Nah. The last thing I want Cleveland to have is more options to throw at the QB position (pun not intended).

Even if Brady is a rookie, he gives them an option and possibly someone better than Frye and Anderson.

I like the idea of them having less choices to work with.

I know... I heard a blurb on ESPN Radio today that Crennel said where Quinn had an equal shot at the starting QB job before, he's now been out so long that he's at a distant third on the depth chart.

I was kinda disapppointed.

Of course, they can still be dumb enough to start him just a few weeks into the season anyway. :D

Kellen Winslow - TE - Browns

The Akron Beacon-Journal calls Kellen Winslow the "most impressive player" at Browns camp.

We have been skeptical of Winslow's ability to recover from microfracture surgery so quickly, but he's clearly off to a good start. The preseason will mean more to him than most veterans.

Umm... I don't wish injuries on any player, it's bad luck on our own team!

I don't think anyone is really "wishing" injuries on other players, rather just acknowledging the advantage it gives us for a higher draft pick...

At least that's how I approach it...

Although, when it comes to Kellen Winslow.... I'm jus sayin. :D

Honestly i hope Quinn signs and gets the starting job.. i want to see him fail so bad.. he is a cocky little selfish punk that is overrated
