PFT says Jerry wanted to offer a 2nd and 3rd to move up to take Lynch, but Steven vetoed it.
Sometimes I really like Stephen.

Exactly.
I don't get why everybody has such a boner for Lynch...........the dude lost by 3 TDs to a service academy
And against a 6-6 Auburn team team in the Birmingham Bowl, check out Lynch's stats............16/37 (less than 50% comp) for 106 and a pick.
Yea, dude screams franchise QB
I like the idea of Jaylon/Collins/Prescott more than Paxton Lynch. I could be wrong and Lynch may be a stud. But with that wonderlic and with that breezy attitude, I just can't see the dude making it. He seems like Jay Cutler 2.0 to me. I like the package we got instead.
Jaylon, Collins & Prescott haven't taken an NFL snap, Jay Cutler is an 11 year veteran.
Not sure how you can prefer uncertainty to 11 years as a starting NFL QB, but it really doesn't matter what we think of Lynch.
The only question is if the team had him evaluated as a potential franchise QB. If that's the case, then you go get him. Broncos obviously think he's got a a shot, but what do the super bowl champs run by John Elway know about quarterbacks.
Well, they should hope a lot considering who they have starting at QB this year compared to the last few. Btw, this is the same team who had the Tebow, Orton, and Cutlers of the world before Payton. You just never know even with Elway at the head.
One of the first things Elway did was get rid of Tebow and how much would you have liked to have Orton on this roster last year?
Cutler hasn't even played a snap for the Broncos since 2008, Elway joined the team in 2011.
What we're talking about is if the Broncos have any idea what they're doing. It's clear that yes, they do.

Take it how you like.
I wasn't as high on Lynch as many others. The thing with Lynch is I've never seen him in an interview where he wowed me and from what I understand interviews are a big part of the draft process. Always came off as timid and unsure. Then someone posted his wonderlic score of what 7? Maybe 8? I'm glad we didn't bite.
