The section I would like to highlight:

That might be a good spot for him. The Cowboys will face Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham, Jordan Cameron, Zach Ertz, and Greg Olsen in 2015. Last year, the Cowboys conceded 109 catches (easily the most in NFL), 1052 yards (second most), and 10 touchdowns (seventh most) against tight ends.Byron Jones’s combination of size, strength, speed, quickness, and technique makes him a good fit for the role. It’s unorthodox, but Jones might be the solution to one of Dallas’ biggest problems..

So, if anybody is wondering why the experimentation with Jones and White in this all over the field capacity, the above should splain.

I'd like to see the play where he covered Dez and batted the ball away. That's pretty impressive.

I can only imagine it was this play.

Tbh, I think that 1 play is being overblown. Where he is shining is in his ability to play everywhere and not look lost.

I agree with you, but going toe to toe with an elite receiver can be daunting... especially for a rookie.

Really good job of locating the ball here. And it's not just this play -- there are tons of them I've seen where he's just exceptional at turning his head and locating the ball.

I think the drafting of Byron Jones was an absolute necessity and a great success. I know many of the Eagles' fans were hopeful of taking him as well, only to see that we were the grateful recipients of his talents. Love it.

Play shows his strength, his athleticism, and his awareness. Dez was about to put him on a highlight reel. However Jones wasn't having it.

Good post !! I think Jones can really help with the red zone defense.
