I hate to bring up something we'd all rather leave in the past but...
My wife had her knee scoped this past weekend and the pain reliever prescibed: Vicodin.
Dose: 1-2; 8 max per 24 hours.
She took one and then one again four hours later.
In the middle of the night, she was in the bathroom and I could tell something was wrong. I called her name three times and then lifted her head where she could see me and then she finally responded.
She had broke out into a cold sweat and her face was pale kimosabe!
She almost passed out but she was okay. She took no more Vicodin! Advil was enough to keep the pain at bay.
Everyone tolerates it differently, but it definitely shed some new light on that incident for me. A couple extra and she would have been in the ER!
