Trying to remember the guy they had after Young; he was very over rated.

Are you thinking of Elvis Gerbac (Sp?)? He was there for a couple of years but eventually went to KC. They also had a guy from Virginia (I think) named Druckenmiller. Fans in the Bay Area soon began calling him "drunkenmiller"; I think he was supposed to have a drinking problem. Then there was Jeff Garcia from San Jose State, and he did a pretty good job for them until about 8 years ago when they drafted Alex Smith instead of Aaron Rogers that was at Cal of all places...
