The original QB rating system rewarded West Coast offensive teams
The QBR quite often does not reflect the actual game
I was thinking this is how I would rate a QB:
1) percentage of third and fourth down pass plays that either get a first down or score BUT are keyed to the time of the game and the score; meaning garbage time would not be a major factor
2) Yards per attempt; penalizes dink and dunk
3) TD/INT ratio
4) completion percentage
You guys have suggestions?
