A question regarding Dallas

He was never "walking on eggshells".. he's the head honcho here. He is "the man." Always will be as long as he's here.

He's always been the owner, that doesn't mean he's always been "the man" or the face of the franchise. He needed BP. Any misstep that would have led to BP leaving would have cost Jerry the credibility the team needed for him to secure funding for the stadium.

I can only tell you what Jerry stated and is common fact. You can interpret it any way you want.

As i only have stated to you what Jerry has said. He made it clear the only reason he brought Bill here was to get his new stadium.. and other than that he didn't give a crap about the guy or what he thought. He didn't bring Bill here because he regarded his opinion and thought he'd help the franchise.. he brought him here for his own personal gain.

I agree with all that. Jerry brought in BP so he can get his stadium. But if you can't see that Jerry was different during Jimmy and BP's tenure, as opposed to the "yes men" he hired, then we can agree to disagree.

Agree to disagree, sure man. I don't think anything was different other than he tried a couple times to hire guys that weren't yes men. It was clear he still wanted control though.. and that's why the two best coaches we've ever had, had such short tenures here.

Coach ain't the problem bro. It's a lack of talent in the trenches thanks to a mentally incompetent general manager.

HAAAAAAAAAABAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another EPIC FAILURE at clock management 101.

You want your crow warm or cold.

I'll eat the crow for him, and I'd like it warm, please. If you think the only problem today was poor clock management you weren't watching. There were some issues but that isn't the only reason why we lost. We had a fighting chance the whole game and played very well. ST, and a missed FG cost us a game much more than JG did.
