slate dont give up on romo yet, wait till about mid season
romo has played 41 starts, eli when he started winning was at 50 games

give it some time, it takes nfl experience to play in the nfl, your reads, recognizing defenses

i honestly think that the tide was turned in this game against the giants even though we lost
in that game we scored right before halftime and we scored right at the end of the game
something that the giants did to us in the 2nd game in 2007 and the playoff game

now its up to romo to mature and get some experience in recognizing defenses, at the same time, garrett must have something ready for when antonio pierce audibles like he did, when pierece audibled, he turned around wiht his back to our offense a full 4 to 5 seconds, right there should be some kind of fire pass right quick or a quick handoff to the rb right up the old gut where pierce is with his back to us;

if you look at the film, you will see the middle of the field is wide open when pierce turns around and walks 2 to 3 steps backwards to change audibles

romo must be ready

gurode must see that too

I'm trying to be patient. I'll try a little more.

Let's hope Romo turns it around!

heres to me hoping too, its true that no qb is the same when they get the light bulb turned on and recognize the defense,

i do think that romo can turn it around, he looks more determined this yr.

So Romo doesn't learn from his past mistakes? You'd think after the 6th or 7th game of him playing like crap he'd actually improve. He still makes the same mistakes as he did last year and in 07. Terry Glenn or not. HE is still making the mistakes.

The thing with Romo is he rarely has a decent game. He either gives us an extreme high or an extreme low. His extreme lows cost games.

Although a ton of blame goes on the coaches also. Like you said "all pull together".
I say "veterans can" and you somehow get "Romo doesn't?"

Your giving excuses for Romo. When will be the breaking point?

After the 5th or 6th time of him doing the same thing over and over, why is he still making horrible decisions?

Whens the breaking point for you?

Uh, no I didn't.

I am simply saying that the 2009 team learns from their mistakes and the personnel they have on the team. The 2008 team has very little influence on this team other than memories. Too many of the guys on the field in 2008 are not here to make the mistakes in 2009.

What exactly do you figure Kyle Kosier can learn from Cory Procter's 2008?

I'm talking about Romo. I don't know why you keep mix and matching players. Romo throws a pick to Terry Glenn. Romo throws a pick to Roy Williams. He's the one throwing the pick. He's the one that should know NOT to throw in double coverage. There's nothing to learn from that? There's something for him to learn and he hasn't done it...yet. Regardless who was/is here, he's still making the boneheaded plays.

Every QB throws into double coverage at times. Why is he held to standards other QBs aren't? It's ridiculous.

yeah but romo will be a full tested veteran by midseason and there will be no more excuses by then

even drew brees had some trouble with the chargers his first couple of years

just think the chargers let him go and who told sean peyton to look at that qb
parells told peyton

brees was with the chargers from 2001 to 2005;
thats alittle over 50 games as a starter

then you saw what happened when drew went to the saints, he took them to the playoffs

thats my point, give romo just alittle more time, but he had better show something by midseason or going into december

no more excuses
time to put up or shut up for romo

totally agree with that;
romo needs a qb behind him that is pushing him, like when chargers drafted their number one qb now rivers

competition either does one of 2 things, makes you better or pushes you as a player or you fall into oblivion

i think some of it has to do with jerry jones hostile
jerry maybe is saying dont touch my golden boy

which is totally the wrong thing to do;
romo needs his rear end kicked, just like when jimmy johnson drafted steve walsh
that pushed aikman, ticked aikman off too when they drafted walsh but made aikman a better player knowing there might be a player to take his place

I remember that several players over the year commented about what great condition Landry was in even into his early 60s. George Allen once said that he wished that he & Landry could meet in the middle of the field and go at it. I always wished that too because Landry would have killed Allen.

Said like a true Cowboy fan.

I have a feeling 2 million Commander fans would disagree.
