No but my guess is the Cowboys probably dont want to do the deal without an extension. Thats probably why there was a FA style meeting with Quinn. To lay the groundwork on a new contract

While I want an extension for D Law, it doesn’t make sense to put free agency on hold due to it not getting it done. Who is going to play RDE, even if we sign D Law?

Not really. There's no hurry timewise to get a deal done there because he's been tagged. It won't get urgent until the tag deadline is close. That's the way the Joneses like to operate because they believe that pressure forces both sides to make concessions.
