The problem hasn't been any lack of urgency. Even Garrett detractors have to admit that this team plays hard every week. They give it their all.
The problem has been that when we scored enough points to win (Atlanta, NO), we lost because the defense didn't show up. When the defense played well enough to win, the offense didn't show up or turned the ball over, along with poor special teams play (NY, Seattle).
To win any game without Romo, especially today vs Philly, we need the defense to hold them to 20 points or less; we need special teams to hold their own, and we need the offense to find the end zone and protect the ball.
I fear Philly will turn up the pressure on Cassell with blitzes and disguised coverages. There will be opportunities for big plays, but Philly will gamble that Cassell will turn the ball over.
