A show of hands, blokes, who thinks Romo can play 16, 12 or 10 games?

8 games, and it's either his last or second-to-last season. If Jerry doesn't draft a premier QB, I'll be furious.

I am going with 19 or 20 games, depending if we get a bye or not. And winning his last game.

Fans, I feel as if I am on borrowed time. My ruffian cousin (the real Gimme) is on his way back, so this might be among my final (and thus last) posts.

It has perplexed me no end that tony romo's acolytes believe him to
1. Be good for another 5 years
2. Return to action as if was still on his way here from Eastern Illinois
3. Actually, advance us into the playoffs, this year or any year.

I am curious as to what the consensus might be as for his durability for the 2016 season.

I want to find that special fan who thinks Romo can go through a 16-game season.
10?
8?

I just do not trust the aging mechanism. That is to say I believe Romo to be entering is final season.
The boy is fragile. That cannot be denied.

So tell us how many games Romo will be at. As in on the field.
Be strong, be truthful, be realistic.
th

8 tops.

13 games. And as usual, the 3 games he misses will be against the 3 easiest opponents. Kellen will put up a valiant effort but, in the end, we will be staring at possible 30-burger losses.

Did you watch the team last season?

I put the over and under at 5.5 games.

I feel optimistic tonight.

10....I'm more worried about the back than his collar bone...the meds he takes though can't be good in the long run after football JMO

12-13, I still have some faith and agree the back concerns me more than anything else.

Can he play 16? Sure, if he's healthy; but since he seems to suffer from osteopenia - I'm saying 10.

Did you see a lot of blowouts or a bunch of close losses?
I saw all kinds of things, Miagi. Did you watch the 2013 season? We had a pretty damn good offense (15 games of Romo) then, too, but the D-line was deplorable. I will admit that the "30-burger" comment was an exaggeration deployed to garner laughs, but our back-ups make other teams look legendary.

He lasts 8 games, thus 7-9, then Romo retires.

Remember this prediction, blokes, then tell me I am prescient or chide me.

He will get injured in the first 6 games. How serious is another question. But my guess is he will only last 6.

Next season he will breeze through 19 games with a clean bill of health no bother. All this QB at four is crazy.

I agree . There is no need to be ready for Romo to retire. That is too proactive for this team. If Dallas passes on a QB that the scouts see as a possible future elite QB, the team and the fans that don't want a QB deserve ten years of bottom feeding in the NFCE. You don't pass on a QB if the scouts say he can lead the team for the next decade.
