Would that be a bad thing for Cowboy fans to do? He has great personal passing stats but has 2 playoff wins in 12 years with the team. Has had a longer run at being a playoff winning qb than any other qb in the Super Bowl era. Yes, the team is worse without him, but, like last season shows, that isn't all bad. When you are really bad you get a chance to draft the best qbs coming out of college to start a better rebuild. Eh?
Tennis anyone?
Golf, maybe?
You can't possibly think Romo is why they haven't had regular playoff success. I know the OP can be dense in that way,but Come on, you must be brighter than that.....it is a team game.
And btw, I'm fine with us taking a QB at 4 if they think that guy is truly worthy of the pick.
And I fully agree that Romo's clock is ticking down.
I'll give him 16. I just can't imagine him breaking that thing again. But I admittedly will hold my breath every time he's knocked to the ground.
Some of that is going to be on Romo. He has a quick release. If he's in trouble, he better use it. He cannot take sacks like that -- these NFC East defensive players know the one key to beating the Cowboys is to take out Romo. He is an absolutely marked man and if you watched the way he was taken out last year, you know I'm right.
The "marked man" factor is what worries. There will definitely be a few players who will take liberties and try to drive him to the ground on that shoulder

I wonder what the OP was saying before the 2014 season?
Rhetorical question, of course.

Fans, I feel as if I am on borrowed time. My ruffian cousin (the real Gimme) is on his way back, so this might be among my final (and thus last) posts.
It has perplexed me no end that tony romo's acolytes believe him to
1. Be good for another 5 years
2. Return to action as if was still on his way here from Eastern Illinois
3. Actually, advance us into the playoffs, this year or any year.
I am curious as to what the consensus might be as for his durability for the 2016 season.
I want to find that special fan who thinks Romo can go through a 16-game season.
10?
8?
I just do not trust the aging mechanism. That is to say I believe Romo to be entering is final season.
The boy is fragile. That cannot be denied.
So tell us how many games Romo will be at. As in on the field.
Be strong, be truthful, be realistic.
