After a hurtful loss, it's still brings some happiness to think back and remember that 93-yard touchdown kick off return. The expression on Miles Austin face says it all. He looked like a kid on christmas day, carrying his long awaited present. Any one have a vid of that? hopefully someone gets that.

As for other young players. Despite the loss I liked what i saw from Bobby Carpenter. Miles Austin has fumbled the ball, but he always gives it his all in special teams. As for Tony Romo, his reactions show it all, he feels the emotion we all feel for this team, unlike some players. Time to brush up the flaws, polish his game, and get ready to show that magic we all saw earlier in the season. I just hope he doesnt get Vanderjagt syndrome next year after his mistakes.

My wife (who is a huge fan) and I both loved that replay, DallasD. Like you mentioned, it was a real highlight.

And I also agree with you, MRTRIPOD, that Carpenter had a capital G Great game. His body language and facial expressions seemed to me to indicate that he was pretty nervous, but obviously he was able to handle it well. That bodes well for his future. By his third season when he thinks of himself as a real NFL'er, one of the gang, and is fully comfortable on the team and in the league, I think there's a good chance he will be better than the average player some have predicted.

he was VERY active all over the field.

He might have even had a better game than Ware.

Carpenter IS the REAL DEAL!

That was a great moment. I have never seen anyone running like that and just beaming from ear to ear. Great blocking, anyone notice McQ springing him? Nice.

There has to be a still of his face somewhere. That was fantastic.

Nice when that small light in the darkness is not an on coming train.

Carp was great, I agree and why haven't we seen Austin on the offense much this year ?

With Glen's ongoing knee problem and TO's...well uh problems (although I do give TO credit for his positive post game comments) we need to know how well Austin and Hurd will play in a full time role vs. special teams.

I've never seen anything like it. Some guys really enjoy playing the game--it was reassuring to see Austin's huuuuuge grin

Austin's been great; I can't wait to see him on offense

That's the best I've found, so far. He looks a little messed up, but we know what he's doing, lol.

Anyone else not think of that as a smile...just a strain on his face?:

I know that when i do dumbell flies my mouth turns upward in a smile-esque (word?) manner.

I hope it was a smile, that would be neat. But i don't think it was.

It was a smile, Austin was watching the board in the endzone and knew no one was behind him and was able to coast into the endzone.

You know I was just about to point that out. :D He totally blew up #57 and put him on the ground.

Props to everyone on that very well-executed play.

What I noticed better then the smile was the speed. Austin blew by everyone. I think he will soon replace Glen as the burner wideout.

I agree on Carpenter, and other than the one fumble Austin gave us really nice field position every game he was back there.
