Hey Stash, are you happy now. We did it baby, we got Hardy. Hardy in Dallas, how sweet it is, we got the pass rusher we needed. Now lets get Gordon in the draft from Wisconsin and we got the RB.. We are on the road to the Super Bowl, and I hope Dallas wins the Super Bowl this year.. Hardy is one big piece of the puzzle. Go Cowboys.

Oh yeah, I'm very happy. I love the structure of the deal for all parties for this year, and my likes far outweigh my dislikes of the arrangement.

Huge credit to the front office for identifying, acknowledging, and attempting to correct their greatest shortcoming. They now have a talented playmaker in the ultimate, 'prove it' situation who will be as highly motivated as he has ever been to restore both his reputation and his earning power in the league.

Now we'll sit back and wait for whatever nonsense the NFL front office comes up with next.

As and added bonus, it's great to truly be in a position to take the best player available in the draft.

For some people. The testimony of the known drug user and established gold digger is taken as fact by some. Because it's easier than actually researching the case and thinking. Because, as we know, false allegations are never made. Just ask the Duke LaCrosse team.

THIS. I'm here in Charlotte and EVERYONE hates DeAngelo. The locals couldn't wait for him to leave.

Is he like the QB draft prospect in the Draft Day movie?

The story here reminds me of it. In the movie they find out that he has a birthday party and none of his team mates go to it.
In this greg hardy story..>Greg is the only person who shows up to a funeral where a team mate loses a family member.

It really does not take anything away from Greg doing something nice...IMO it puts more of a spotlight on the other player that only one team mate would show up in his time of sorrow.

maybe or maybe Hardy is a good guy standing by a friend

He made it a point to "get there" .... That's big.

While his issues and character are being dragged through the mud, by his own actions.

There is a part of his character that goes unquestioned... He will do for the guy to the right of him... To the left....for his teammates.

I heard that.

I also heard on Mike and Mike about his time at Ole Miss and in Carolina where he would go missing - not attending workouts, or meetings. So, this should be interesting.

Yep. You hear so much regarding the bad, it's nice to hear a story that shows he's human, and has a heart.

I think that him going to Williams mothers funeral is frankly a much more telling story.

And I think it shows how little class the Carolina Panthers organization has to not send at least one representative there.

Even though I feel the way I do, I acknowledge the Cowboys could be right and we won't want any parts of an extension of Hardy after this season.

we will see. I'd like a 2 year agreement personally and get Rolando McClain back. I was not onboard at the time, but he proved his worth here.

Yep - that was uncalled for and I can't believe it made it through. If you don't like Hardy fine but that's disgraceful.

It's only "disgraceful" if you ignore his point, which is 100% spot on. The fact that Hardy may have done something good and decent in the past does not negate the actions that landed him on the league's exempt list.

Even if Hardy got into a physical fights with his ex girlfriend it doesn't make him a monster that is cold and heartless. People who lose control of their emotions and try to use physical force to regain control of the situation are wrong for doing that. However it doesn't mean they are like Jeffrey Dalmer or Ted Bundy.

We don't know what really happened between them. We can all agree that it's wrong if Hardy did hit any woman. If so he should have help from the league and the courts to get him to learn how to control his emotions so he never does it again. It doesn't make him a lowlife scumbag.

His "point" is valid his comparison isn't.
