It really is amazing how many folk on here have never done anything wrong, ever. Never got behind the wheel under the influence. Never struck another human being. Never ingested an illegal substance. Never abused anyone emotionally. Unless of course finding someone guilty without any evidence or corroboration is wrong.

Everyone makes mistakes. Most are insignificant. Some deserve a second chance. Very few are actually lost causes. We can either look for ways to help those with a problem. Or we can accept that if we make any mistake we are not worthy of help or a second chance.

What society do you want to live in?

Hardy was tried and found guilty in his initial (bench) trial. The fact that the ruling was set aside when his lawyer requested a jury trial does not change that.

I was the forperson on a grand jury last year that indicted 53 cases in a single day. The legal system has many layers to it and many of these layers are known to be there only to move a case along to the next layer.

Grew up in Carolina, teammates and fans are disgusted he's gone, real fan favorite. I'll take their word over the media and exec's worried about PR. He brought an excitement to the entire defense and made catalytic plays. He'd get in a QBs head early in the game and just completely rattle him.

It's only "disgraceful" if you ignore his point, which is 100% spot on. The fact that Hardy may have done something good and decent in the past does not negate the actions that landed him on the league's exempt list.

so you say Hardy is as bad as a **** who was a part of killing millions. Really?

I'm pretty sure you're smart enough to realize that isn't the point KB and I were trying to make.

After the war, Adolf Eichmann raised cute little bunny rabbits on a farm in Argentina.

Wow. Apples to oranges in the worst way. But please continue with your comparisons.

skip bayless on espn right now is making me kinda sick. he's pandering to the PC crowd and citing all the right details that make hardy look bad, but then making fun of carolina law for allowing hardy the trial by jury so therefor he was found guilty so he is.

and the testimony of the woman was heartwrenching!!!! yea, do any homework on her like you did hardy, REPORTER???

Here in Charlotte, she looks like a lying gold digger. There were plenty of inaccuracies in her testimony that would have come to light in the jury trial. You don't hear anything about none of this now. Oh yeah, the case was thrown out, just in case they forgot. You notice how they never mentioned any of this on FirstTake?

that's what pisses me off about "journalists". they have to make themselves part of the story these days.

skip, i don't give a flying monkey fart how you FEEL about this, give all the facts on all sides and quit stopping when you've applied enough public guilt. tell the WHOLE story.

JOURNALIST.

After no conviction.

Hardy is probably one of those guys that you hate when he's not on your team but love if he is. I don't think he'll be a problem for us.

Very nice gesture. But didn't one off his x-teammates call him toxic?

lets see: 20 teammates say he is a great guy and one says he stinks. And you OF COURSE think that one is the ONLY one telling the truth.
