Well a devensive coordinator telling a linebackers coach what to say isnt all that uncommon.

On a side note, that was more a video of Ray Lewis' leadership than anything. I wish we had a player that plays the game like he does.

Agreed. Thank you for posting this video. I find it amazing how one of the most respected, most ferocious linebackers of our modern era (Lewis) had the utmost respect for Singletary. That says a lot.

Our D could use a little bit of that humility and focus.

Well, considering we think we're better than we actually are I would definitely say we could use a bit of humility on D. Oh, that's right. I already said it.

You still have to play the game. Being good on paper isn't going to win any Super Bowls.

The problem is that they're too quiet and lack emotion on the field, However, if you ask them they think they're better than gramdma's apple pie. They need to be humbled by a coordinator that will be truthful with them about how they look today and will instill the belief in them that if they just let their collective gameplay speak for itself and follow him down the yellow brick road everything else will fall right into place.

Singletary or Rivera. I'll take either one. Norv gives me heartburn.
