The Packers have ruled out OLBs Aaron Kampman (concussion) and Brady Poppinga (knee), JerMichael Finley & Mark Tauscher for Week 10.

This is poor timing for Green Bay to be minus its top two strong-side outside linebackers, with red-hot Tony Romo coming to town. Rookie Brad Jones, who's only played on special teams this season, will be forced into action.

When I see stuff like this it scares me. I remember when we played the Seahawks in the playoffs a few years back, I think there starting CB's were driving a cab and selling shoes a week before we played them and we could not take advantage of them. I think sometimes when a team knows the are shorthanded the rest of the team steps up and has a big game.

Or two years ago when the Skins came into town with a supposedly "banged up" receiving crops and Campbell almost throwing for 350 yards.

Thought I posted before, but I guess not... But that's big news that Finley is out IMO. He's kind of an athletic phenom at TE and can make some really big plays.

I think he is averaging 15 ypc, so I am glad he wont play.

You and me both.

This team (Cowboys) tends to play down to the competition in situations like this.

This quote from Ware bothered me. Sounds like a preemptive excuse in case they tank tomorrow.

"They know how good we are, and they'll be ready for us," Ware said. "Every team that we play, we're always going to get their best. I don't care what anybody says. They're going to find some way to block us, because we've been getting pressure on every team we've been playing."

:laugh2: That statement bothered you?

Maybe if you took it too literally but then..........

Yep, I like what Ware said. It shows that they aren't underestimating a dangerous opponent.

And this is just for media consumption anyway. For all we know, Ware and Co. are entirely confident they're going to blow away that O-line tomorrow.

Yes, it did. There's no earthly reason for the Packers to perform better against us than they have against other teams, unless you buy the "other teams try harder when they play us" bullcrap. He's transparently laying down an excuse in case we get beat.

I totally buy that. I see it on the other side when the Rangers play your Yankees. Darn right they get extra jacked up to play them.

Is it just me that thinks any time a crucial player is out for the opposing team (like Seattle's OL for example) that it will be a given the guy replacing him vs Dallas, even if he's a scrub signed off the street will play like an All Pro that day? :(

While I agree that they should't do better against us, OVERALL, than the rest of the league- mind you they are one of the best offenses in the league- they could realistically do better in the protection department. That's not an off the wall opinion.

They're desperate, just had a come to Jesus meeting and tweaked a few things on offense. They could decide to run the ball a lot more and take fewer chances on offense. They can go with more of a shorter passing west coast offense route or more max protection.

Will you be complaining if we only had 2 sacks even though we stopped their offense?

You guys sound like a bunch of school girls. 35-17 Dallas.

If Dallas is truly a SB contender then that's what the score should be.

I'm just not sure they are.

They've won 4 in a row and are due for a lousy game.

It could come this week.

Oh ye of little faith...

The Cowboys are going to win the game and show that they are real! I will bet you $876,987.00 in $20.00 bills.
