I've thought about it, and this is who I think I oughta be rooting for in each scenario... please correct me if I'm wrong or if you have a different take on it.

If the Cowboys beat Atlanta Saturday night...

Go Giants. Dallas would be 9-5, Giants 8-6, Eagles 7-7. The following week has the Giants hosting the Saints, while Philly comes to Dallas. The Saints will probably beat the Giants, and even if we happen to lose to Philly at home, we'd still lead the division (as long as the Giants lose to N.O.). If we beat Philly and the Giants lose to the Saints, the division is clinched... we'd be 10-5, Giants 8-7, Philly 7-8.

If the Cowboys lose to Atlanta Saturday night...

Go Eagles. Dallas would be 8-6, Philly 8-6, Giants 7-7. We're still a game up on the Giants, and we control our own destiny the following week at home vs. Philly. That game will basically be for the division title.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't count on the Giants losing to NO.
The Giants can put pressure on Brees, and they will probably pound the ball against them. Not sure that the Saints can stop the Barber - Jacobs duo.
I still wonder why we gave up on the running game.

I also doubt there will be as many Saints fans in NY/NJ.

Just can't see NYG losing this game.

I'm going big blue for this game and here's why:

I still see #2 as a possibility. For this to happen we need the Saints to lose two games. Maybe we get a break and NO drops the ball in DC, but I doubt it. That leaves the NYG and Carolina. I want NY rolling with some confidence headed into that NO game and a win over the Eagles will help.

Then it all comes down to Carolina in NO. Not a good chance, but I'll take it.
At least it will make for an interesting Sunday of switching back and forth to Dal/Det Car/NO.

Of course this is all assuming we win in Atlanta.

Remember last year? The Saints "home" game against the Giants was filled with Giants fans... I wonder why.

If we win or lose, I want Philly. Problem is,I don't think they will win.

Im rooting for Philly, think about it.......Who do we have a better shot at beating in the playoffs, Philly or NYG? Yeah the answer is Philly,Here is who I want to win Sunday............

DALLAS!!!!(ON Saturday)

New York Jets
New Orleans Saints
Philadelphia Eagles

We would clinch a playoff spot, and NYG's chances of making the postseason would become slimmer.
