I was a dodgers fan growing up.They've won their division 12 of the last 13 years....the only year that they didn't they lost by 1 game....almost EVERY MLB owner or owners group is worth a Billion +.....quit crying....spend money and you make money....why do you think the Dodgers draw 4 million + every year???
TradeCharles Haley and Deion Sanders say "Hello". Sorry your baseball team are losers that spend 30% of revenue on players
Please start a whiner thread and let all these guys get it all out, in ONE thread. The rest of the Fanzone, should be for fans to talk football, criticism is welcome. Crying and whining to their own thread. Homers should get one too, I'll walk in and everyone will yell, NORM!! We can laugh at the Doom and gloomers that are laughing at us.
It wasn't that enjoyable. We were lucky to be there and extremely lucky to win it.
You can laugh all you want but they were whipping our *** in the second half and for some reason Neil O'Donnell threw it right to Larry Brown not once but twice. They were going to win that game. So yes we did get lucky.![]()

That's the problem, lucky to win it. Some fans think it's so easy to win a championship. Every team gets lucky, lucky to avoid key injuries and many more things that fall into place. Damn, lucky.....
Bad throws are part of the game....but, many wouldn’t give us credit for winning a SB.....they'd make excuses for the other team. Said it many times around here. Thanks for making my point. You can laugh all you want but they were whipping our *** in the second half and for some reason Neil O'Donnell threw it right to Larry Brown not once but twice. They were going to win that game. So yes we did get lucky.
To me, it's not about Jerry knowing football it's more about his arrogance, inconsistency and being sidetracked with other major business ventures on top of being in a dual role as owner and GM. He was a running back at the North Little Rock High School in Arkansas and offensive lineman and co-captained the University of Arkansas Razorbacks to the National Championship in 1964. Managerially, he has been a liability and a team developing progress stopper post 90's due to his impatience and shoot from the hip decision making on player and coaching acquisitions. A foolhardy kingpin instead of a linchpin. This franchise has been set back since Jerry decided he knew football 30 years ago. As long as he is breathing that wont change.
You missed when Jimmy Johnson used to walk the sidelines. You could feel the anger coming through the TV when players made mistakes at crucial time, that cost the team the game. If you weren’t an elite talent, you would be looking for a job the next day.At least you have something to remember. The last time the Cowboys were good, I was 3. I'm a diehard fan, but I'm not sure how much more of this constant losing and frustration I can take. It's supposed to be fun, but how's it fun knowing that we're going to have the wheels come off every damn year? At least I'm 32, so maybe by the time I'm 52, I'll finally see us do something other than us lose...
Offense was struggling by the end of the season, particularly in the red zone, especially with the loss of Novacek and Aikman’s safety valve. Norv was also gone, after the second SB win, so one could feel the pulse of the offense no longer the same. You can laugh all you want but they were whipping our *** in the second half and for some reason Neil O'Donnell threw it right to Larry Brown not once but twice. They were going to win that game. So yes we did get lucky.
I've been a fan since the mid 70's, and yeah, he missed a lot. Even when they lost, they were a team you could be proud of.I'm 42 and didn't start following them until the 1995 season. You didn't miss much.
We had Novacheck that game. The biggest loss was Alvin Harper. We were also missing pieces on the line. And Erik Williams wasn't the same.Offense was struggling by the end of the season, particularly in the red zone, especially with the loss of Novacek and Aikman’s safety valve. Norv was also gone, after the second SB win, so one could feel the pulse of the offense no longer the same.
As a dodger fan, everything about this franchise screams loser. No player cares, they pay below average players top of market, let top quality walk. There is no culture of winning or pride, its about the arrival and style versus the finish.
I called 2-15 early in the season with my only caveat being Aubrey could hit 5 70 yard FGs in a game (i.e. NYG game).
No one here watches decent talent and teams - its always "the opp played their best" - No this franchise is a stone cold loser and if spend $1 on it until Dak, CD, Stephen Jones are gone shows you might as well venmo it FTX
I am relishing in this franchise demise.
Nice try, but the Cowboys didn’t have the highest payroll when they won. According to this article from 1993, they had the 19th highest payroll when they won in 1992 and the salary cap was in place for 1995.LOL. Cope more. There was no cap in the NFL when the cowboys won 3/4 in the 90s and had the highest payroll. I guess those were embarrassing....
And the Dodger still have a top farm system. Will Klein came out and pitched 4 shutouts innings after sitting on the couch the 1st 3 playoff rounds. Miguel Rojas won game 7, taught Mooke SS. What an embarrassing post from you
The haters will crap on any trade the Cowboys made no matter it was for a talent like Williams that the team sorely needed. You’re blinded by your hate and are ignorant to the fact of how a DT like Williams can do for a team. After the disastrous trade yesterday, this thread hits even harder.
The Dallas Cowboy are losers...until further notice. Talk is cheap, to the sheep. As a dodger fan, everything about this franchise screams loser.
