According to PFF, Kenneth Murray was one of the best defenders on the field vs Vikings

Then I have to ask as a non-coach in all fashion......what the heck was his read, if he went where no one went and the Vikings ran completely away from his side, and he left no second line of defense where he left originally, for aditional gap fill? Somebody help me, the current D Coordinator, that simply needs to sleep in a Holiday Inn, to verify my expertise now.

The best of the worse?

If Murray was one of the best defenders we had last game, doesn't that speak to just how awful we are on defense? Think about it. If they graded him right, THINK.

If they had him rated one of the lowest, you’d be all over it posting here.
What do you mean? CL may or may not use PFF. But he at least talks about things objectively. I know he's a fan because he has been around for years and years.

Sometimes, players suck no matter what PFF says. And sometimes, players are good when PFF rates them badly.

It's a dumb source that I passively consider.. if I even consider it at all.

Their grades literally mean nothing though. It's not a legit grade on a players' performance.

We really need to make sure we finally upgrade the Safety position this offseason too. Hooker and Wilson are meh at best. In todays NFL I would love to find a safety that has enough speed and coverage awareness to cover some. Wilson is a good run defender (though he misses more tackles than I would like).

EberFluff was guessing, which is no problem if you have intuition. Fluff has zero intuition. I don't think he really knows what he's doing. And Schotty is finally starting to see it.
